Heritage Heritage 12' Solar Blanket for Round Pools
This Heritage Solar Blanket for round pools is made of durable resin and has thousands of tiny air bubbles designed to capture and transmit solar heat to your pool. A solar swimming pool cover will keep your pool water clean by blocking out dirt and debris and in doing so saving you money on the need to purchase chemicals. Using a solar cover cuts water evaporation by up to 95 percent and prevents heat loss. The 12 inch round solar pool cover also takes advantage of the sun's heat and will result in, on average, a 15-degree temperature increase. In doing so, it will help decrease expenses on power usage and electricity bills in having to heat your pool.

I found it thin and not well made. I feel it didn't do anything to raise the temp of my pool water, although if you are looking for a pool cover to keep it clean,this would be it!

We bought this to add additional protection for our hot tub. We got the 12' round and will get 2 or 3 pieces to fit the spa. Don't know how long it will last with the hotter water, but we'll find out...lol. Also hoping it will help retain the heat in the hot tub and reduce power bills.

If you are have purchased or are considering the purchase of an Intex above ground easy set pool, you must purchase one of these covers too. It is amazing how it uses the sun to heat the water. It also helps keep debris and insects out of your water.

After reading all the reviews, I was skeptical that this product would work! But, it keeps our 12' x 36' pool so warm. The sun warms it during the day and the cover keeps it warm at night. Yes, it is essentially bubble wrap, but it is thicker and the blue color attracts the heat.

It's ok it does warm the pool a bit, but not to well. I guess it would help if my pool saw more sun light. haha We have trees every where. I did not give it a 5 because it does not keep out rain water-which reeks havoc on my pool's chemistry, and since it floats in the pool some of the debris gets into the pool. However, I do not feel like shelling out more for a pool cover (unless it's on clearance) so it will work just fine as a (somewhat solar blanket and pool cover). However, you can put it on by your-self and it does not blow away even during a storm and it feels pretty sturdy-so that is a plus. Pick your poison.

We bought this cover for our 12' intex pool. We had to cut it down quite a bit and then stick it under the blow up ring to make it stay. It has made our water almost too warm in the heat of the summer. We have ended up just putting it on the day before we are going to use it or the water almost feels like bath water. In 100 degree weather that doesn't feel very refreshing. I think it will be great for the beginning of the year when we first put the pool up to get the water to the right temp. Overall, if you want your water warmer this will do it!!

I have tried every other pool cover out there-all junk. 2 windy days in a row and they were shredded. A friend recommended one of these round solar covers. I actually paid LESS for this than I did the other cover I bought with my current pool, and had it delivered right to my front door! It has stayed in place through wind, rain, etc. Very easy to remove & replace. I didn't even trim it like the directions said. It still stays on. I recommend to anyone with a pool. Also keeps the water warmer.

We live in the country and have to fill our pool with well water. The water was much to cold for our four and five year old. We have the 8x30 Summer Escapes pool and even with temps in the 90s everyday the water was freezing and the pool was filled over four weeks ago. The solar cover has been on for two days and water was awesome today. This was the first time I did not have to make the kids get out of the pool and warm up. I was so amazed at how warm and comfortable the water was today that I had to write this review. For the price it is amazing. I would have gladly paid double.

One thing I was hoping for when I received this was a way to hold the cover down onto the pool in high winds. As it turns out, the natural suction of the water while the cover rest on it holds it in place pretty good. I can't figure a better way except maybe velcro tabs which I plan to install myself. Otherwise great product.
