Heritage Heritage Solar Blanket for 18' Round Pools
Heritage 18' Round Solar Pool Cover helps to maintain the temperature of the swimming pool. This solar pool blanket saves the power consumption and cuts down the electricity bills. The shape is exact circular with 18 diameter. This blanket fits well on the rigid pole pools. This Heritage Solar Blanket functions equally well with above-ground pools and in-ground pools. The seams are sturdy welded for better durability. When covered on the pool, this blanket increases the water temperature and reduces the overnight heat loss. The description stated that this solar cover should increase the water temperature by 10 degrees in a week. We left our brand new cover on our pool for a week without removing it while on vacation and it increased the water temperature 5 degrees. An improvement, but was hoping for closer to 10 degrees. It did keep the leaves out-- sorta.

We have a 16x48 metal frame intex pool. I ordered the 18 size and trimmed it down after letting sit on pool for a few days. Works great and is a great alternative to the more expensive options. I check the thermometer regularly and our pool has reached in the 90s my two kids love it. I can take and put back on by myself. Great buy

I have been using the solar cover for 2 weeks now and it does as expected, heats the wate. However I was disappointed to find it was torn around the edges a good 2 feet so I needed to trim it around the tears so pieces of it did not get in the filter. Other than that it works fine.

I was leery about the solar heating aspects of this blanket but after using it for my 16 ft. pool, I found it to be amazing. First of all, I did not cut it to fit the 16 ft size. I simply drape the excess over the edges and unless the wind is blowing strong, it stays in place. My yard is privacy fenced and I have several trees that block the wind flow a little. Second, my pool only gets about 3-4 hours of direct sun heating each day. I was amazed at how quickly the top layer of water heated up at about a 4-5 inch depth in just one day. I diverted my return water flow a little deeper and it now circulates the entire pool and the water is super enjoyable as well as cleaner. I put the solar blanket back on after each swim and it keeps leaves and other tree debris out of the pool and I simply brush it off when removing the blanket. I have yet to use my pool cover that came with my pool. I installed pool pole accessory clips I purchased elsewhere and bought bungee cords and attached them to my privacy fence posts so when I roll up the blanket, it hangs along the fence and stays clean until I put it back on the pool.

This is for an 18' round pool and the cover actually would probably work best for 19' round. It is big but covers all the way. We will have to trim to fit perfectly but has really warmed up the pool a great deal! I would recommend definitely.

Bought this to cover our 15 foot round pool. We trimmed it to fit and then used the remnants to cover a little toddler pool. Keeps the pools nice and warm. Like swimming in a bathtub. This cover is amazing.

I have on big caveat, this is not a pool cover that will keep out debris. However, I give this product 5 stars because it does what it advertizes- heat your pool. I have a pool thermometer. Pool started out at 66 when we pumped in the water (too cold for me). It took a week covered and it was at 80 degrees. Now the outdoor temperature was between 80 to 90 everyday but you can see what I mean.
However, like I said, it does not keep leaves and pollen out because it is too big and the sides blow over in the wind exposing parts of the water. I should have listened to the other reviews that recommend getting a samller size if you have an Intex above ground pool. They were right. The cover is too big because of the inflatable ring.
I just got a smaller one because I love this product so much...hopefully it will keep debris out.

WE WANTED SOMETHING TO WARM OUR INTEX POOL, THE POOL WARMER MACHINES WERE RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!! THOUGHT THAT FOR THE PRICE OF THIS ONE I HAD NOTHING TO LOSE. OMG!! WE ARE SOOOO HAPPY!! I see a lot of reviews stating the 15' cover will work fine. However that is only if you have the inflatable ring pools. Those pools surface area is a lot closer to 15'. The more popular rigid pole pools that stand straight up are truly 18' across so this 18' solar blanket is necessary.
I had a solar cover in the past that was square- talk about a pain we had to chop it ourselves. This one however, comes 18' in a circle and it's great. I've always been a huge fan of solar covers- they float so easy along the water and you can put it on yourself no need for help! Use the white plastic it comes with to lay down on the ground- it keeps the cover from getting dirt all over it- fantastic thanks!
Our pool gets plenty of sun but always cools at night so a huge recommendation to ANYONE trying to warm their pool is that it's a MUST to leave this on all night. In fact any cover what so ever should be left on at night. No solar blanket or solar fish will work at all if you let the water cool overnight so be smart and leave it covered. We sometimes have our water skyrocket to 87 plus degrees so we often take it off in the morning and only use it overnight. I know it's crazy but honestly solar blanket or not- I'd use this as a cover for it's ease of use and to keep the dirt out.

I thought this was for the Intex 18' round pool, but it is too big. I just tuck the edges under. I suppose I could cut it. I believe the cost was too high for the product, because it is only a light piece of blue bubble wrap. But it works. It warms up the top of the pool and keeps a lot of debris out. So, I am pleased with the product but a little unsure if it is worth the cost. This was the only item I could find for a 18" round pool cover, so there wasn't any choice.

I have found this to add degrees to the water. So far our temperature out side has not been all that warm but, the cover has raised the pool temp. by at least 10 degrees and it helps to keep thr temp. up during thr night.

Yes, it does warm the pool to some degree,
but half of my pool is in shade, and I also turn it over to the smooth side to not heat the pool as much...I like it cool since I live in Texas.
I have had zero problems with my Intex pool,
but I change the filters regularly, I have a vaccum, and I do daily maintenance and I have the water checked by Crown Pools (free)

Some people trim their cover, I have not yet,
