Hamilton Beach 7-Qt. Slow Cooker With Travel Case, 33690BV

I love it. I have a smaller slow cooker that I often use but find it is too small for many of my recipes. I ordered this one because it is large and I'll be able to prepare large batches of soup, chili or stew, for example. I'll be able to double the size of recipes which allows me to cook less often and freeze portions. It also allows me to feed my entire family which has grown in size with marriages and the arrival of g'children. I have only used this once but followed a recipe in the cookbook that was included and cooked a 4.5 lb. whole chicken. I was a skeptic, couldn't believe it would be ok but it was excellent. Tomorrow I'm fixing vegetable soup from scratch, an old recipe.

I bought several new kitchen toys to support our desire to make more wholesome meals. This is one and it is everything I wanted. Big, cooks fast without burning, attractive, and easy to clean. I can't speak to durability because I have only had it a couple of weeks, but it was love at first sight. I bought all my items site to store which was wonderfully convenient and allowed me to buy things that had high consumer ratings that were not carried in the stores.

This crockpot is really a great size for soups. I cook for myself but I like freezing containers of soup and this crockpot works out really well for my soup cookings.

This worked to make my slow-cooked spaghetti sauce perfectly. My only regret is that it didn't have a timer. Otherwise, it was excellent and cleaned easily.

The crock pot is great. The only thing I would say needs improving is the switch. i thought that little lights would comeo on, andwhen it didn't I thought it was broke. It wasn't until I tried it a second time and reached in and burnt myself that I realized the little spots by the temps were reallly just black dots. Besides that, it works great!

I have waited to get this slow cooker. I was saving up for it. So worth the wait! I was able to cook enough food at once that made my family of three; several meals. What an awesome time saver. Now all I have to do is reheat or create a new dish. I love this slow cooker. Easy to clean.

First and foremost use Slow Cooker liners. The 3-6 qt liners work fine. You will save the slow cooker, and there is very little clean up.

My first impression was "What a lovely piece of equipment for the kitchen." If a small kitchen appliance can be called lovely, this one is. It is simple, efficient, and holds much more than the old 6.5 qt slow cooker I recently parted with. My first batch of baked beans are great, perfect cooking time, perfect appliance for the recipe. At first I was disappointed there are no indicator lights for low and high levels, but the finished results made up for that.

So far so good It is pletty big and works great

My wife has used this several times over the past few weeks and everything has turned out wonderful. She raves on the size of it and likes the idea of the lid strap and carring case. I definately recommmend it to anyone that needs a larger sized cooker.......
