This is a solid product, obviously built for a lifetime of use. Replacement parts are cheap, should you ever need them, you could rebuild the whole thing, from gasket to the handles. It has a rack to keep your jars off the bottom of the pan, I thought it had a rack for loading and unloading. All American is the only step up from here. For the price this is it!

I love everything about it, except the psi gauge was very off on my pressure canner which caused it to overheat and blew off the safety valve. The company is sending me a new gauge and safety valve but it was still very scary for a first time pressure canner. I still plan on using it again but will be alittle scary this next time.

I needed a pressure cooker for canning and that is exactly what I got. It's bigger and that means I can do more canning at one time, faster, which means I have more time with the family. The only reason I gave it 4 stars not 5 for value is because I think everything is over priced. However if you compare it to other pressure cookers this size on the internet you will find it is a great deal! I will definalty get my money out of it.

I've used other pressure canners/cookers. This one is my favorite because you can stack pint jars 2 high so it holds 20 pints. Since it's bigger it takes a little longer to reach the desired pressure but it's worth it when you're getting two batches done at once.

This is not your grandmother's canner!!! It's better! This canner is so easy to use. Sometimes, if I don't feel like going to bed early, I can something. I have had so much fun with this canner. It's simple to use. It practically does it all by itself. It holds seven quarts of goodies at one time. Also, the canner is so shiny I like to leave it on the counter just so people can see it. It meets well over any expectations I hoped for. This canner will show you what you've been missing. I've canned pickles, salsa, homemade soup, beans, tomato juice, etc. It's great.

I purchased this for my dad for Christmas and he LOVES it! He raises a huge garden and canning with this pressure cooker saves him so much time! He had a very small pressure cooker that he uses to cook green beans and other things at meal time, and the taste is so much better using these cookers! I am going to buy for myself! I loved the space. Fits 7 qt jars at a time! At first it took awhile to heat up and gain 15 psi (because I did not have the gas turned up high enough) and I wasn't expecting the pressure valve pop-up, but after you do your first batch and get acquainted with the process it's super easy. Just don't be afraid to turn up the heat to get things started.
Works great and everything stays so sparkling clean inside the unit as well as the jars.

I purchased this as a food canning beginner. This is very easy to use and has been performing splendidly. Now that I have used it for a little bit, I should have gotten a 16 qt as this is vary large and has wasted space for what I need. I was told you can't stack jars on top of each other, which means there is a lot more room on top than is needed.
