We bought this bed for our 20 month old and he absolutely loved it! I was a little worried at first because I didn't know how he would take the change one day to another from his crib to a "big boy" bed but he had no problem what so ever sleeping in it that same night. He gets on and off with ease, no worries about him falling out of bed when his tossing and turning at night (sides of the bed are perfect height to prevent that). The bed is actually bigger then it looks but its a good thing because a twin mattress def does fit when they grow out of the crib size! Def worth the money!
It always gets the "I wish I had a bed like this! and " OMG where did you buy it? I like it for my son" when guests are over! =)

Love this bed!
Was delivered the same week I ordered it!
Easy to assemble, sturdy, great looking bed!
Everyone loves it, men of all ages wish they had one growing up!
My son was sleeping with me (yes I know, bad habit) & I wasn't sure how I could break this bad habit. He will be three soon, I had to act fast. He loves cars, trucks, trains & Lightening McQueen.
I did a search on Wal-Marts website & came across this gem. I bought it on sale & it was 2 weeks early on delivery! My son slept in it the first night alone & has been since we got it. He has been sleeping in his own bed, in his room like a big boy for 2 weeks now!!
His crib mattress fits in it perfect & I'll be getting a twin to put in it when the time come!

The bed is easy to assemble. After reading previous reviews, I was concerned with comments in regards to huge gaps and spacing. It left me wondering if the gap was other than what I could see in the photo and if my son would get stuck. Well, our standard crib mattress fits perfectly. The spacing is the same as displayed in the photo. Since my son is walking and mobile, it's not much of a concern to me. I'm sure if he rolls off the mattress, he'll get back on it. It's all part of his growing and learning experience. However, I do plan to upgrade to a twin soon.
As for the comments regarding the stickers, I had just about two of everything except the boxed group of logos. I highly recommend this bed. Fortunately, ours didn't have a damaged box or scratches all over it. From reading the reviews, I expected it to be in much worse condition.

This bed was bought as a gift for my less than 2 year old grandson. Oh my God when he saw it all put together. He touched it all over and said awesome. Then when he got in it he said vroom, vroom. Then he laid back on the bed and said AHHHH. It was way to cute. Now he wants to be in his bedroom all the time. It was well worth the money. I am very much pleased with this product. The bed is very well made and sturdy.

Bed goes together very easy. The instructions say to use a screwdriver but if you have a cordless driver handy, use it to run the screws in and then a hand-screwdriver to finish tightening it up. The only reason this did not get 5 stars from me is because the manufacturer does not include enough stickers to make both sides of the car identical. This may not be a big deal for most of you. For a family of racing enthusiasts, it was one of the first things my 3yr old noticed.............

We have had this bed for almost 2yrs and my son loves it. It stopped him from sleeping on the floor. We are just about to change it from the toddler mattress to twin mattress in a few months. It is very durable plastic. Not much directions on putting the stickers in the right place is my one complaint.

My two year old really loves this bed. We're currently using the toddler mattress with it, and there is space for his toys, on the sides and foot, which is a really neat feature. Now if he wakes up early or can't fall asleep, he's happier to just stay in bed until it's really time to get up.
It was pretty easy to assemble - my (not super handy, but otherwise awesome) husband did it himself with a little cheering on from me, in just over an hour.
I only gave three stars for two reasons. (1) Shipping was awful. The box arrived so beaten up I almost didn't accept it. Not only was the box coming open from being bruised so badly....the inside of the box was a total mess. No foam was used to keep pieces from scraping up against each other - there was a lot of empty air so things banged around a lot. It arrived with a scrape along the back. Not bad enough for us to go through the hassle of returning it, but I'm not impressed.
The second reason I'm holding back a star is that the bed itself sits on top of a bed board. no springs, coils, or anything with some 'give', which means the bed is a little tough to lay on. He has had to adjust, and while he doesn't have the words to explain it, it seems like he's a little uncomfortable. We put an extra foamy blanket underneath him which is helping a lot.

My one year and half loves it as soon as he saw it just isthe size of atwin but is socool the shipping carriers broke the boards but walmart change the whole thing its really coolmy baby boy loves it. It was rreally easy tomake ghim sleep on it.

Excellent buy! After looking all over online for deals on this particular bed, Walmart site to store had the best value for this item.
Sturdy, beautiful bright colors, fun, easy to assemble; the only parts that require the use of a screwdriver are the tires, one screw each and done! Fits perfectly either mattress, toddler or twin. This is our second step 2 race car bed purchase; our 4 & 5 year old boys absolutely love their beds!!
