This table is great for all ages. I bought it for my daughter who is 21 months old. She could play in it for hours. My 6 year old daughter loves it also. The umbrella is very convenient to keep the sun off of them. You kids will get messy when playing with this. Wear play clothes! Worth the money, very glad I purchased this product.

This is a good product. It's very sturdy and my daughter loves it. It's a little tough to put together but fortunately you only have to do that once. It has a nice cover and umbrella to go with it and that's very cool. A very good product.

I relied on the reviews heavily to make this purchase. For us, it was a lot of money for a sand table! My husband was just going to build something similar for us. But, it's been such a great addition. All the kids love it (7.5 down to age 2), as well as the neighbors' kids. I was hoping to have it be a sand and water table, but as others described, that didn't end up working. So, for a few days we had water in both sides and now we just have sand. ($5 from Lowes/H.D.) But, it's still loads of fun, and I LOVE the lid. Our five year old can take it off and put it on when they are done, and it keeps it protected. The little toys that come with it are cute, I wish we could order a double set. Where else do you find such a miniature shovel? The umbrella is nice, though I don't know how long it will last. It's a maroon color, though, not black and white. Anyway, all in all it is a great toy that is great for all the kids and makes my life much easier, esp. when I'm trying to get dinner on!

My 23 month old daughter loves this table. One of the legs does leak like the other reviews state, but since my daughter prefers to make mud in the water portion, it's actually helpful since it slowly drains the water out. Overall, she loves it & that means I love it. I knew what I was getting because I read all the reviews. If you're going to be nitpicky, you might want to find a different product

This is a great item. Less sand is brought inside the house than your regular type of sand box. Little ones can walk around the edge. Even rinse their hands in the water when they're done.

I was looking for a good toy for this summer to keep my 15-month old son entertained when playing in the yard. The table was pretty easy to put together, although the water part of the table has been leaking a little. So far my son is loving his sand & water activity center, and I love that it comes with an umbrella to keep him out of the sun, and with a lid for storage and bad weather. I would definitely recommend it!

My two-year-old does seem to love this item - especially the water side. As most of the other reviews state, the price seems a bit high for the value - but what isn't these days? After reading warnings about leaking around the table legs, I took a proactive stance and liberally applied plumber's goop to the ends of the table legs on the water side before inserting them into the table. Once I had secured the legs with the supplied screws, I then applied the same goop to the indentations around the legs inside the water area. I smoothed this until no gap could be detected. So far, no leak. (we use it in the garage) Overall, a decent toy my child does enjoy.

I have 3 kiddos...ages 8 to 4. They all stand and sit around this table and play every day!! The lid with ties on this table is key and one of the best parts! We had a sand box that sat on the ground, but the neighborhood cats would climb under the loose lid. That went in the trash and we replaced it with this table. I read a previous comment on here that said to buy little plastic animals, so we did. My kids love to bury the animals and then take turns finding them. Such a great product!

Well made, quality toy. Fairly easy to assemble. VERY fast site to store shipping from Wal-Mart. My 4 and 1 year old LOVE it. We got a little tired of the mud mess, so today we took out the sand and the kids had a blast with soapy water instead. Look forward to using the umbrella this summer.

We've only had this sandbox for a couple weeks but so far it has been wonderful for the kids. I have two kids, 4 and 2, and they would spend hours playing in the sandbox if I let them.
Assembly is extremely easy with a cordless screwgun. I really like the "more neutral" colors of this model. I've seen similar products that are green and don't care for them at all. ALthough we have yet to really use the umbrella (included), we did set it up to check it out and it appears to provide complete coverage for sunny days. The top fastens down easily with a small bungee on each end....i just hope the bungees don't lose their elasticity over time as some do.
We use ours as a complete sandbox...no water on the "water side" so i really can't comment on the water application.
I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a sandbox for your little ones.
