The AcAcer Aspire V5 15.6" Laptop PC, V5-571P-6490 puts inspiring performance in a thin and light form. A HD touchscreen breathes life into your entertainment and gives you hands-on control, while 4 built-in speakers make your enjoyment all the more sweet with great sound.
I took this laptop back because the Walmart ad said it was Windows 7 and that is what I needed for work. When I got the machine it was Windows 8. Walmart needs to update their website. I decided to simply go to the Toshiba website and buy direct.

We apologize for any confusion, and any disappointment with not receiving what you expected. When I reviewed the site today, everything seems to be pointing to the unit having Windows 8 now.

It still says Windows 7
The following is what I "cut & pasted" from the Walmart website under the description of the machine. The description should be consistent with the title and it is not.
Software: Genuine Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit (To learn more about the features of Windows 7, click here) Backup and Restore options built into Windows allows you to create safety copies of your most important personal files, so you're always prepared for the worst with the Silver Acer Aspire Touchscreen Ultrabook Laptop with Intel Core i3-2375M Processor

The ad states very clearly this machine is Windows 8. I've owned Acer notebooks for many years and have always had positive results. Consumer Reports rates this Acer Ultrabook as recommended. The only problem that I see with this Acer Ultrabook is it's preloaded with only 4GB memory. My current Acer Aspire that I bought from Walmart 1.5 years ago has a Celeron Processor with 4GB memory and a 320 hard drive that I bought for $328. For the extra $200 I would expect a minimum of 8GB ram, a larger hard drive and longer lasting battery.
