Bought this for my 8 year old son for when we camp. It's quite roomy and very comfortable. The colors are complimentary as well. Would recommend this sleeping bag.

Shop around for a bettre bag. This bag is heavy and not for the avid backpacker. I reccomend the Artic 0 bags they protect up to or down to if you prefer to 30 below. In the end you get what you pay for, but don't expect this bag to be pack friendly.

This bag is great. It is lightweight and comes with a compression sack so you can get it down to about 9" x 9" and can be attached to backpack. I like that there is a little extra material around the head area for extra softness. Great buy at a great price!

Bought one last year for my son. Liked it enough to buy one for me a few months ago. I have found them to be well made. Very warm bag. I've had it down to 7 degrees (F). A little cold in the foot box. Have had no problems with zippers or cords. Stuff bag could be tougher. (My son is rough on his gear) Not for long hiking. Weight is around 5 lbs. But a bargain at this price.

I purchased this sleeping bag for my son that just started in Boy Scouts. We had him try it out in the living room and I think it's terrific. Got more for my money with Walmart versus other online stores.

I practically live in my RV and I need to have a warm nights rest, so I need a sleeping bag that works. I have had too many sleeping bags that are made for living rooms (most) and many others that are too short or just poorly made. For the cost this one is well made and has a double layer of insulation that holds the heat in well. It is plenty roomy and quite warm. I'm so glad I bought it!

As advertised, the product is warm and functional. But is too large to be practical for hikes of a few miles or more.. Other than that, it is an excellent price.

It's warm, cosy, and comfortable. I just don't see the 0-5F rating, though.
I found that it's a bit hard to keep the opening closed up, the sliding thingy opens by itself.

I bought one of these mummies for each of my kidz and they love them! Great starter sacs for young campers. Lightweight and roll up nicely to fit the compression sac. Warm and cozy, the hood cinches down to allow only nose if you like it like that. The compression sac doesn't look like it'll take much abuse (the seams strain alot), however, you can find better ones elsewhere. We will let you know later in the year how they do in da woods....

If you like the toxic chemical smell of new tires, you're going to love this! I wouldn't say the texture is exactly greasy but you will have trouble getting the odor off your hands for hours. I would recommend letting it air for a few weeks in the sun. Having trekked with $300 bags above 14,000 feet many times, I was intrigued with the stats and thought I would be happy if it would do 30F even at this weight. Don't let the picture fool you, it does not loft at all after 24 hours and lies pancake flat like your Coleman bag from Boy Scouts. To be quite honest, I can't speak to the performance although I doubt I will take that chance given my observations thus far. It is quite comfortable in a 70F house (my other bags are not). Is it worth twenty dollars? Absolutely. Could make a great gift for that special person who thinks they want to go hiking with you.

A really great bag: Quality appears right up there with much more expensive bags. If you are using a bivy sack be aware that the zipper for this bag is on the left side.

I found this bag to be pretty well made and certainly well worth the money. The bag I currently have cost enough that I could equip an entire family with these bags. Even compared to it the bag is pretty good. 5 degrees may be a little bit of a stretch, but in the mid teens it should be fine (always use an insulating pad). I am 6'2 and very wide in the shoulders and this bag is pretty tight, but that is how you stay warm. Seems to be long enough for me, and my wife, whom I bought it for, should be fine. When you tighten it around your face you can tell its not the same quality as my Sierra Designs, but its OK. If you are an occasional camper and need something for that 2 or 3 weekend trips a year, this would be fine. If you are hiking the AT then you might want something a little more, but if you are planning on hiking the AT you already know that. Get it, have fun, and let us know what you think.

I was a little hesitant about getting this bag because of some of the reviews that I read. One in particular that concerned me was how hard the bag was to get back into the stuff sack. If you roll up the bag and try to get it in the way it originally came out I can see how it would be nearly impossible to get in the the stuff sack. Instead try just stuffing the bag in without rolling it up. Using this method, I found the bag easy to get into the stuff sack, and I am not a strong person. The main thing that I don't like about it is that it does create quite a bit of static. I am used to cotton sleeping bags and this one is polyester. I hate static, but I love the bag. Don't know what I am going to do about this yet. Another thing that I like about the bag is the zipper. It is a double sided zipper so that you can unzip it from the top or the bottom. I like to have my feet uncovered when sleeping so it is really nice to have a zipper like that.

I wanted a -20 degree bag. This was rated +5. It is a good value for the money (inexpensive). The top layer is thicker than the bottom layer so bring insulating ground cover. A little narrow for me (I am 5'9" and 200#). Nice zipper; extra padding around the neckline; double quilted- all good features. For me, probably good for +20 degrees. I'll get another for a spare for my friend.
