Hoover WindTunnel HEPA Bagless Canister Vacuum, S3755

Bought this because it was a Hoover and have always had their products in the past.
First couple of times it worked great, then the cord stopped rewinding, it was noisey and heavy to pull around. Took it back to Walmart and after getting a refund bought a Bissel Pet Hair upright. Also have a Bissel Carpet Cleaner too.
Will probably never buy Hoover products again.

Prior to purchasing this Hoover canister, I have owned two Sears Kenmore high-end canisters since 1991, which I have always kept under warranty. These extended warranties added up to quite a bit over the years, but every year, at least once, I was always needing some sort of service, for which I was never charged. I finally decided not to renew my warranty this summer, and, of course, something went wrong, as it always does.

I really wanted something other than a Kenmore, because I knew all of its weaknesses and there never seemed to be any product improvement in the 18 years I had owned one.

I visited various local stores in order to see what canisters were available. I also went online to see what was available and to read reviews. However, I would not have bought one I couldn't have tried out locally. I use my canister several times daily in my pet birds' room and it was vital that it be user friendly and not too noisy.

The one in the local Walmart store caught my eye because it had the features I required as well as being bagless, which was new to me. I read reviews online and decided to go back to the store to see if I could try it out. It was up on the second shelf with a cable tie so I had to find someone to cut it loose so I could look at it. I had brought one of my Kenmore attachments to see if it would fit, because I noticed the canisters I was looking at did not come w/as many attachments as my old Kenmore and it was important that the Kenmore attachments fit my new canister. Found an employee who cut it loose and then we carried it to where we could plug it in and I could try it out, which was a MUST for me. It was quiet, I liked the features and my attachment fit - a WINNER! However, I needed to find a local service center or it would not have been worth purchasing. I found one not too far away. So, since I had noticed this earlier online where it was $10 cheaper than in the store, I ordered it and less than 24 hours later, to my amazement, it was at my door.

I really like the suction control, which I didn't know existed because that feature was not on my Kenmore. The carry handle is a terrific feature along w/the washable filters. The power nozzle is a great feature, too. The cord seems to be a couple of feet shorter than the Kenmore, and that is the only drawback. However, I am delighted w/this canister, its look and features, the price and the speed at which it arrived.

p.s. My parakeet likes it too, because she used to sing when I vacuumed w/the Kenmore, and she sings w/the Hoover, too!

It has great suction and is not very heavy. The problem is the cleaning head. The belt kept coming off ours. The head has no hieght adjustment so full power can not be used on the carpet.

You are better off spending an extra 50 bucks and getting another model or brand.

Great vac for the price work,s great very happy with it. the only thing the attment,s have a hard time staying on, other than that it,s a great vac

This is my second purchase of the model: first i bought it years ago and very happy with it. This time I needed it for another residence - I decided to buy the same (but newer version) vacuumcleaner. Light wighted, easily movable, no packs required.

Where to begin! I have the world's worst shedding dog, and this vaccum, even without a pet hair attachment, did better than any other vacuum I've owned in picking up after all her hair! It also worked very well with dust and, believe it or not, large pollen spores. The power levels are great. Be sure to keep the filter clean because it will get covered in dust/hair quickly. Very, very pleased with this product!

I've used this vacuum for two weeks now and I'm amazed at how much it picks up. It's a small, light weight vacuum, with a small bagless holding chamber. For a large house you will need to clean it out after each use. I'm surprised it didn't come with a flooring attachment. It has carpet and sofa cleaning tools, but I needed to use the hardwood floor attachment from another vacuum. Overall, great product and I hope it stands the test of time.

I am so happy I purchased this vacuum. I had researched it online, read other reviews and looked at it in stores. I knew I wanted a bagless vacuum. I just felt that being able to immediately get rid of pet hair, dirt and dust that is tracked into to the house had to be healthier, especially if you have any allergies! You will be amazed and probably grossed out at the amount of dirt, dust and pet hair this vacuum picks up. I vacuumed the rugs until I barely had anything in the container to empty. The other feature is that you can wash the filter and the container after each use! You will love the easy way to take off the carpet/floor attachment to use just the wand. No bending, just one step and off it comes, no reconnecting wires at the handle!! The wand is adjustable with the pull of your hand. It just slides to whatever height is convenient for you. If you have a bad back and can not bend easily you will love this vacuum! It is also lightweight and easy to pull behind you. Having it bagless also eliminates the extra weight of a bag getting fuller and fuller.

I like the vaccuum. It has a powerful suction. Esay to clean. Relatively quiet.
But
The dust container is small. It needs to be emptied everytime after each use.
