The only reason I did not give the MK-177 five stars is the pumping action.
Its a little hard to break loose but then is easy through the action until it closes again.
But, maybe this is just mine? I may take a file to the plastic parts to see if that helps the sticking problem. The rifle is light and shoots very well, overall it is a nice rifle, four stars.

Crosman multi-pump air rifles
Posted 10/17/2014
I wouldn't suggest filing the pump or the frame, it will break in after a few hundred shots, and be smoother from then on. Most airguns are fully broken in after 200-300 shots. Short-stroking the pump, i.e., unlatching it and snapping it back without pumping air can help with these guns. Premium break-barrel guns commonly instruct the user to unlock the barrel, but not load the gun. Simply opening and closing it a dozen or so times before shooting it the first time.

Arrived with ripped box. The scope glass was broken. Without a scope, the gun cannot be sighted. There are no fixed sights, but there should be. Also, the scope is cheap and would not show a red dot outside in daylight.
