This was a poor purchase, I would have returned it but the shipping was more than the product. It was not designed for the legs to be separated in a tripod, which bends the top screw. The holding arms are too short to hold a 3 foot target (what it was meant for!) and I had to add a 6 inch bent arm extension for it to be useful. Luckily I had some thin metal pipe around to make this happen.
