Although I only played a demo of the previous Spider-Man game, Spider-Man 2 surpasses the first game in terms of action, graphics, and much more.
This game was more realistic in terms of what Spider-Man can do with his web slinging abilities, and it offered a vast environment for you to explore and battle villains.
The game does tend to suffer a bit from some of the repetitive things you have to do to advance the game, but overall, I would recommend this game to everyone.
