Review 1 for Next 24" Boys' Power Climber Bike
Horrible

I have had this bike for 5 years, since I have had it I have been going through horror riding it. My cousins took rides on it for a very short time ( 2 minutes to the store) and they said the bike sounded like it was going to fall apart beneath them. When I am riding this bike it makes many noises such a squeaking. When I ride through the rain the brakes screech when I go to stop. I have not done anything that would cause this I only rode it home.to school and back and to the store. It has been to my local bike shop for tune ups every year and it still has these problems.

terrible bike. my son rides it for two weeks and then the pedals break. i took it back to the store 3x times to get new pedals put on. the first time, new pedals, the 2nd time just grabbed a new bike, the third time the gave me a packet of new pedals. they don't fit so the big sits in my garage waiting for me to go to a bike shop to have real pedals installed..........

Cheap Plastic Parts make for a cheap, useless bike

We bought this bike for my son at the end of last summer. He got a lot of good use out of it for the few weeks before it snowed. We stored the bike in the garage through the winter and got it back out this spring. Within the first two times he rode the bike, the front brake (made out of very cheap plastic) snapped in several pieces. He wanted to keep riding anyway, and used only the back brake, but after less than a week, the rear brake broke as well. I am extremely dissatisfied and frustrated that we basically flushed $100 down the toilet for him to ride the bike only a handful of times. The bike still looks brand new - shiny and beautiful - but it is completely worthless now.

hi im 27yr old,i bought this bike for myself today an as soon as i left walmart i took it for a ride home,an i must say it does take some getting used to,but it is a good bike over all,the ride was nice, the price was ok,but my only compliant is that the seat is loose an i might have to adjust a few part, maybe just needs some tightening,so far so good, its not falling apart, make shore you test it out in the store befor you buy, they do have more then one,an there could be one that has issues,so good luck, hope this helps.

Bought this for my son for the outrageous price of $88. It was simple to put together and the quality is good. The paint in spots is a little uneven but I'm splitting hairs really. Walmart wanted $20 to put it together but it's really easy to do unless you're all thumbs with tools. My son flys around on this bike and he says it's a great ride, so we're all happy with it.

Bought the bike as a Christmas gift. My son is 5'1" and 110#'s. It is a good fit for him. He liked the colors and how aggressive the bike looks. Quality of the bike is good - especially for the price. Bought assembled and it needs to be returned for some slight adjustments but nothing major. We have only had the bike for 3 weeks but it is holding up well with no issues noted. Overall, it is a good bike for the money, and I would recommend for anyone that is going to be doing mainly street riding or light off road riding.

A nice bike, however I would recommend having a Wal-Mart associate put it together for you. We didn't realize they wouldn't come put together and when we opened the box it said free assembly. If you never put a bike together before this isn't one to start with. It didn't take us that long to get it put together, but we have a bracket and we can't figure out from the directions where it even goes, not sure if it's an extra/misplaced part?? My son is getting this for Christmas, so I'm sure he will like it. It's a nice looking bike.

My son thought he wanted to have a new bigger bike, this fits him great, he is 11. But once he received his new bike he realized he couldn't do wheelies or tricks with it. So although he likes the new bike he is on the old one more... Nice bike for the cost though!!! more for just riding...

When I bought it I had to have the bike person adjust the wheels so that they would roll strait. Afterwards I brought it home and took it for a test ride and the tire popped. Personally, I'd go with i different bike.

I bought this bike in-store at a Wal-Mart. The first thing I had to do while in the store was buy a better seat. When I got home and road it a few times, I noticed the gears would not work. The only ones that did were the low ones. It would not switch on the smaller gears but to two spots. I would not recommend buying this bike. I returned mine and won't buy another one like it.

Brakes are horrible, they keep jamming. Chain does hold at its place for long enough. This bike was installed by Walmart professional associates.

Review 20 for Next 24" Boys' Power Climber Bike
Cool look but bad quality

I have bought this same bike twice now (dont ask y) and have already brung it back for mod's multiple times. The brakes are always bad, either not strong enough or move a lot out of place. At least one of my bikes (same brand) has a wheel that is not straight and wobbles. The looks are nice but the quality and performance are poor. The gears and speeds dont have much of a difference and also sometimes touch the side of the bike structure which is really annoying. I reccomend this as a first bike and later upgrading into something lasting.
