As much as I would like to give the Google Nexus 10 five stars I'm disappointed in the performance and customer service from Google and Samsung. I've had my Google Nexus 10 for 3 months, in the the past two weeks I've had constant freezes and rebooting due to apps and programs. My most recent problem has been using the panoramic mode; when taking photos in panoramic mode by battery life goes from 100% charged to 0%. I contacted Google about the issue and they stated that I would need to contact the manufacturer which is Samsung since I did not purchase my Nexus 10 from the Google Store. So I contacted Samsung about my problem and I was transferred 10 times to several different Samsung departments; in which each representative would tell me that they were transferring me to their Nexus 10 WiFi only department, I never spoke to anyone in the Nexus 10 WiFi only department. Each time I spoke to a representative they wanted me to provide my phone number, full name, area code, and email address which i stopped doing after the 5th transfer, instead I would ask the representative if this was the NEXUS 10 department and the representative would tell that it wasn't and they would transfer me to the "RIGHT" department that could help me with with my issue. It was extremely annoying and disappointing that I couldn't get any help after 25 minutes of being on the phone with customer service and after being transferred one last time the automated system ended the call. I called back after the call was ended and once again I was transferred back and forth I then spoke to an Omar who stated that he only worked in the laptop department, a Rachel who then transferred me to a Barry, this Barry was supposedly the person that would be able to help me but he too transferred me to the "NEXUS 10 WIFI ONLY DEPARTMENT" after 19 minutes the automated system ended the call. I still don't understand how I kept connecting to people not in the tablet department, since the automated system gives you the choice to connect to the tablet department when you call Samsung customer service. I would say save your money b/c you may need some help from customer services and unfortunately there won't be any solutions to your problem.

Review 3 for Google Nexus 10 with WiFi 10" Touchscreen Tablet PC Featuring Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System, Grey
Having used more than my fair share of tablets, after a couple weeks I'm prepared to call the Nexus 10 the cream of the Android crop. Speedy, nice in the hand, perhaps the best mobile screen yet made, and Google software without all the horrible manufacture add ons that often compromise the experience. This is easily one of the best media consumption devices available right down to the smartly placed speakers.
So why would you buy the iPad instead? Apps. Not the issue it once was, you'll find all the entertainment you need here, you'll still be missing out on the very best and varied mobile software on iOS. If you like games, that goes double.
So why would you buy this *instead* of the iPad? You live inside Google! This is the best platform for getting to all of your Google services, and that includes matching up with your Android phone. Not only is android at its best on this device, you have the sort of freedom to tweak and twist here you'll never see on an Apple device. It might be more freedom and plastic, but trust me it's just as beautiful an option.
Summary: The premium Apple alternative. Software slightly less robust, but made for Google and the only alternative worth buying.

Review 4 for Google Nexus 10 with WiFi 10" Touchscreen Tablet PC Featuring Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System, Grey
Very responsive OS and great video support. Excellent screen for video and reading and comparable to latest apple iPad Retina. I found the tablet very easy to use. If your main usage will be watching TV shows and movies then this is a must over the iPad since it has widescreen viewing format. For reading ePub books and PDFs its also great but for PDF you need to find a faster rendering reader for magazines (Fast PDF maybe). All the major apps are here - gmail, facebook, evernote, fruit ninja, dropbox, etc. Gaming is very responsive. And with a free media app and a $3 Micro USB OTG Cable you can expand the storage (read only - ie videos and books to view). If you are going to be reading alot of magazines, then if you purchase them from App store and use the built in OS reader then it works great. However, if you have existing magazines subs or ones from library then iPad is better for faster rendering and you may prefer iPads 4:3 non-widescreen format for reading magazines as is closer to format of magazine.

Review 6 for Google Nexus 10 with WiFi 10" Touchscreen Tablet PC Featuring Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System, Grey
Get this tablet if you want a pure Android experience, and the best screen resolution available anywhere. Game play is phenomenal. Only downside is this tablet does not have a 3 or 4G capability, only WiFi. So if that is important to you, look elsewhere.

Was excited to fire up my new Google Nexus 10 tablet today (made by Samsung). Unfortunately it won't connect to the Google servers (which are critical to setting up a new Google device) and won't connect to the internet. Most importantly: Samsung and Google customer service is worthless. It consists of transferring me to 10 different departments within Google, then Samsung, and then finally telling me to power the tablet off and on, disconnect and reconnect to wifi, then "sorry, we can't help you". Wow! I guess that's why people buy iPads. This device is going back to the store.

I know its not an IPad, but its android and that's what I wanted. I'm very satisfied and typing this review using this tablet. All is great with my Nexus 10". I did purchase a Pogo adapter for quicker recharging of my device. I give this tablet thumbs up.

First I must say I'm pleasantly surprised at how quickly my order arrived for pick up. It showed up a few days early which was exciting.
The Google Nexus 10 is simply amazing. The smoothness and speed of this device is impressive. The screen resolution rivals the iPad and the front facing speakers are loud and clear. Its a pleasure to watch HD videos on this screen.
If your on the fence about purchasing the Nexus 10 just buy it. You will love it. :)

Constant restart due to Chrome browser ruin it

As an iPad user I was excited to try this tablet because of the screen resolution. Unfortunately about half the time I used the Chrome browser the whole tablet would restart. This is not only inconvenient but makes you wonder if it will crash in the middle of important tasks besides web browsing. And for me that makes it a no-go. At least when my iPad has a problem, the whole thing doesn't shut down on me. Once they fix the reboot issue maybe it would make better sense to consider this a serious alternative. Until then retina screen suffices. Returned after just one week.

Review 17 for Google Nexus 10 with WiFi 10" Touchscreen Tablet PC Featuring Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System, Grey
I did my research and decided the Nexus was perfect. It has the latest operating system which helps it do pretty much anything. The screen is gorgeous and the tablet is very lite. I'm still learning what it can do-but couldn't be happier with the purchase!

Review 19 for Google Nexus 10 with WiFi 10" Touchscreen Tablet PC Featuring Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System, Grey
This tablet has the most gorgeous screen I have ever seen on any device, whether tablet, laptop or desktop. The cpu is fast and fluid and the graphics chip plays 4K video perfectly, without lag or glitch. The build quality is solid, the balance is great, both in landscape and portrait, and the back is composed of a soft rubbery material that makes it feel very secure in your hands. It comes loaded with all the usual Google apps, but none of the manufacturer bloatware we're accustomed to seeing on most other devices. This is a superb tablet, and I can recommend it without reservation.

I've got a Motorola Xoom that outperforms this hands down. This won't even play the movie that comes with it, says not enough bandwidth, switches to normal mode, then still can't keep up! Something is seriously wrong with the WiFi in this unit. S L O W. My Ipad 3 runs circles around it and looks much better. Think the increased resolution is a plus? Forget it, doesn't look that great to me, colors are washed out. I read a review that said this had AMOLED screen... it does not. You can see backlight wash from the bottom right corner in two places and from others as well, only not as bad. I've had several tablets. Ipad still beats them all so far, at least the ones with the Retina display. It's simply astonishing. This will be going back tomorrow. The only plus is that it is lighter and thinner than my Xoom. Also, sound is low, not as loud as the Xoom or the Ipad. It does seem to have good glass and appears to be well made.
