The item worked intermittently. Video was good when it worked. Remote also worked at times.

I attempted to install this TV tuner on two different PCs. One was new, the other had just had an OS reset so no other apps were installed. The first was with windows 8/64. The second was windows 7/64. Nothing exotic on either. In the both cases the tuner worked for a brief while (less than an hour) and then the system reported that no drivers where found. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both drivers and apps. Still could not make it function. Windows would not recognize the drivers on the OEm disk. An email to the manufacturer went unanswered. Reviewing various user community sites reviewed a number of people had similar driver problems. Admittedly some got it to work. In spite of my age I am computer literate and at one time was a certified A+ PC tech.
My summary is that this is a twitchy device that is very sensitive to whatever is on your pc and is not reliable.
