The HP d3000 16 Megapixel Digital Camera offers the simplicity of size with the dynamics of a traditional DSLR. The clever design of this 21x Optical Zoom Camera gives the user point and shoot ease with options to control multiple settings for still shots and for movies with 720p HD resolution. Viewing and reviewing shots through a 3" LCD is easy and quick. The fixed-lens on this Ultra-Zoom Digital Camera delivers an extensive zoom range that allows for creativity from wide angled landscape shots, wild-life close-ups and live sports to ample focusing precision to capture macro shots of your favorite flowers and insects. A substantial molded grip secures balance to perfect every shot from speedy bursts to portraits you can easily preserve with expanded memory options on the HP d3000 16 Megapixel Digital Camera.
I've always had good experiences with HP products and decided to try an HP camera, after being disappointed by several name-brand point-and-shoot cameras. The d3000 is easy to use and its features are easy to understand. I am, however, disappointed there was no software/application interface when downloading photos to my computer. Although the camera only comes with a quick-start guide, there is a more complete manual available on-line. The USB cable to connect camera to computer is quite short (about 20"). I think, once I've used the d3000 more, I'll be as satisfied with it as I am my other HP products.
