I had a 32" Sony for years in a bedroom. That was a good TV but the screen finally gave out. I wanted something similar to replace it given the size / space considerations in that room. After reading lots and lots of reviews of similar products, I decided on the Vizio E390-A1 39". I've had the TV for 2 weeks now and have been very impressed. Bottom Line: I Highly recommend it so far.

I had bought a Vizio LED of similar size online, and went down to pick it up, but after seeing it on the TV wall in the store and seeing how much brighter the Sanyo and others were (and the low price of the Sanyo) I cancelled the Vizio and took the Sanyo home. Sound is solid despite the comments I'd read about Sanyos. Picture is as nice as the smaller Vizio I already own. So far, I'm really impressed.

I was looking forwarding to enjoy my purchase, but I was very disappointed when I got home and had everything all set up and the screen colors were all messed up. I called the Vizio company and try to trouble shoot, but to no avail they determined that the unit was not good and advised me to return the unit.

Very pleased with my choice of the Visio E390-A1 LED HDTV. Very nice picture with HD input. The small bezel size also makes it very attractive to hang on the wall.
The only complaint would be the placement of the cable connections on the back, they are recessed and quite hard to get to, also the USB port is too difficult to access easily.

TV looked well built all around as are most VIZIO TV's but the picture quality on this model was horrible...Greyish looking screen. Thought LED would be a better picture but I was wrong on this TV...The colors just did not pop. Took this TV back to walmart for a refund. Bought a bigger LCD TV with alot better picture. If you dont mind a good color quality...this TV will be ok.

Everything works and looks great, except that switching both HDMI inputs also changes your TV volume. Ex: HDMI input #1 will be 25 and HDMI input #2 will be 35. Doesn't make sense to me?

Only had it for a month so far, but good value for the price. Picture quality was my primary interest--not disappointed! Room lights reflection on screen is a minus. Being able to connect my stereo receiver directly to TV is a great plus!

Very good TV, i have mine hooked up to a home theater system so sound wasn't an issue. The picture was a little dark at first, but i disabled the ambient light sensor and it made it normal. I have been very impressed so far. Very rich high quality picture

The picture quality is no comparison to my 37 LG. Even with the Ambient Light Sensor turned off there are no really bright colors and Im seeing the black ripples in the background when it is a darker background. Im really confused about this and have been messing with the picture for several days and I found an online review with a custom set up for this particular TV its still no match for the LG I bought over 4 yrs ago. Also, no manual just a pamplet. Vizio dropped the ball on this TV. If you care about a vivid bright picture stick to LG or Sony.

We were told by co-workers that Vizio was not a great buy and not top notch... The Vizio we bought is TOP NOTCH! We decided on buying another tv for our home and really did our homework. We had it for a month now, and so far, its super. We have our surround sound and dvd, and vcr and direct Tv all hooked to it, not a problem. This tv runs for a long time, many hours, and its not hot to feel. so the LED really does stay cool. We love our tv and hope it will last for a long time to come, and hope I can still give it a five star rating a few yrs. down the road.
