I do not use videos games and this was a gift for my 12 year old grandson. He really loves it so I guess that makes it a good buy ! ! Price varied from $35 to $69 for the product but this one had a bonus video in it so it was a better buy @$39.

Review 2 for Lego Lord of the Rings (Wii)
Game does not include a Blu Ray disc
By 565678 ,
This game does not come with a blu ray disc as described. It only comes with a DVD disk. I wanted both items, and am now stuck with a DVD that I previously owned.

It doesn't advertise a blu ray disc
You didn't get a blu ray disc because it doesn't advertise it. If you look at the case, it specifically says "DVD" not blu ray. This game should not be rated poorly because you misread the advertisement. It's a good game.
This game was the best game I have ever played. It was magnificent and I really recommend it to anyone ever into legos. It is a great adventure.... not just walking around in a circle. You have to look for things, collect mini kits, there are designs and hidden things. It is a good long lasting game and will keep you busy for days!
Can't go wrong with Lego games, they are always great. This one came with a bonus movie for no extra charge. I will be checking online for bonus or Walmart exclusive items from now on. I got several movies and games this year (Christmas presents) that came with extra goodies like stuffed animals, action figures, movies and extra digital copies of movies that can be downloaded on my computer or Kindle Fire. Free shipping with site to store!
The actors' voices from the movie are used (or awfully close!), original lines from the books are used. It's a 1- or 2-player game. My 13-yo son loves it (LOTR, Lego, and Wii - what's not for a boy to love?) From what I looked at, the price for the game & movie was the same as what other vendors were selling just the game. Then, at the checkout, Wal-Mart took another $10 off! Woohoo!
