The TV never worked. I called Vizio and they wanted me to send it to them so they could repair it. I told them it was a new TV(less than an hour old) and that I paid for a new TV not a rebuilt one. They said it is not their policy to recommend that I return it. I laughed and brought it back to Walmart and got a different TV.

Bought this tv for my grandson to play video games on. Picture quality is very good and video games are good too. I can really see the difference in the picture in my older LCD tv's and this LED tv. For the price this is a very good buy.

All who have viewed the picture quality agree it is superior high definition video. Sound quality was better than expected, having heard so many low definition speakers with high definition pictures on other brands. For the money spent you cannot beat the value. The "stand" is nominal, a mere V bar which the unit leans against. It was sufficient for our mounting purposes, however. We are quite satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone considering a twenty-nine inch class high definition television.

Finding good quality TV's today that actually fit into older entertainment centers is a challenge. I have an old, cherry entertainment center in my daughters room that I was unwilling to part with. Finding the 29" size was difficult ... but this one works perfectly. The sound quality is great, picture is great and set up was easy. Definitely would recommend.

Great TV for the money

This is my first flatscreen ever and I am impressed. Lightweight 29 inch screen but the case is only 26.5 inches wide. You really get the most screeen for the smaller space. However, be sure to use the HDMi or component inputs and avoid the AV inputs if you want the best picture. I tried Component cables (720p) versus av cables (480i) and the component cables/inputs were noticeably better for the picture. For the audio, I just stuck with the AV cables but the sound is fine for me.

The stand it comes with, leans backward. You must view it at eye level or below, to get a great picture. I put it on a wall mount, which solves all viewing problems.

A good TV for the Kitchen

The TV was purchased to mount under the cabinets over the kitchen island.. It is mounted to a swivel that can face the kitchen work area or the breakfast area (180 degrees apart)... Plus it can be folded horizonally using the swivel mount to get it out of the way for big meal preperation... A good picture with good reception.... Our experience with our Vizio 47" 3D set we have had for a year helped us to decide to get this one...

I've only had this TV for a few weeks, but being a previous Visio owner, I think it's safe to go ahead and write a review.
I'm not using this as a TV, although it's hooked-up for it. I use this bad boy as a PC monitor and it rocks my home office. Every time a monitor goes south, I buy the next bigger size. I've gone from a 22" to this 29." Everyone that stops by says, "WOW, THAT'S HUGE!!!"
I rated the sound quality excellent, because I wanted to give it a perfect score. I don't use the TV's speakers, but an external amplified speaker system geared for the PC itself.
I've never owned a LED TV before, and compared to my 42" in the living room... BOOM! This is computing at HD quality! Also I get most of my international news- Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, etc.- online, and it's like watching it on my 42 incher.
This is cool: when my PC goes to sleep- as it does several times a day- the screensaver plays on for 30 minutes at first, then my PC automatically goes to sleep. Well, this Visio detects a loss of signal from my computer and shuts itself off until the PC wakes up. The TV doesn't go to sleep... it powers down completely. The TV then turns itself back on by the signal feed from the PC. Energy saving: A+
I am so pleased with this TV. Visio is a terrific brand, but like all things: some people swear by it... some people swear at it. And there's at least one lemon in every truck load.
I say "Buy It." But be safe and smart, get the added warranty.

Got this 29 inch because it was going to work perfectly in the space we had for it. Overall, pleased with it. Sound is pretty good and picture is as good as can be expected on a 720p t.v. My only complaint at this point is that the picture gets poor from any angle other than straight on. The other Vizio and the JVC we have keep good picture even pretty far off to the side. Overall, a good value.

Bought it today, set it up without my HD cable box and the picture quality still looks great! I can't wait to set it up with my HD cable box. I usually purchase the LCD TV's but I am really loving this Razor LED TV. Fits perfect in my bedroom. Loving the Ambient light sensor auto-adjusts picture to my room lighting. That was a big problem with my LCD TV. I would definitely recommend this one!

This tv is great, great picture, sound I don't worry about because I like using surround sound anyway but I tested it and it's ok nothing special. Picture is great in 1080p on my netflix and if your a gamer is perfect if you know how to tune your picture setting to get maximum quality.

If you are watching the TV from an angle as opposed to looking at it directly in front of you, the picture quality is less than optimal as the color, contrast, and sharpness appear faded.
I like the sound quality regarding the fact that there is no difference between the program and the commercials, especially the volume.
It has some nice features, but way too many options regarding adjustments of the TV picture which is mind boggling to some degree as I prefer to not have to waste a lot of my time regarding all these options.
The size of the picture is perfect for viewing especially with a smaller frame size.
Overall, I like it more the longer I have it.
