Bought this unit for Mother's Day. Since then she has continually played puzzles and games. She plans to also load some books. Keeps her very entertained. She takes it everywhere! The screen resolution is very clear and the colors are magnificent. My choice for any "Android" tablet!!!

I bought the Nexus 7 because of online reviews I read & did not want to spend that much for an Ipad mini. I do not have any experience with a smart phone, only worked with a desktop previously. Have it for less than 2 weeks and I like it very much. It will take me a while to read and digest the user manual that is loaded on it. I have played a couple games & loaded a few new apps on it so far. Many to choose from.

This is awesome!!!! I love my NEXUS 7. It streams video with a breeze, I had a Kindle E reader but I wanted to be able to do more. My wife and son purchased this for me as a early fathers day present. It uses Google Chrome as the web browser and it sinked with my Samsung Blaze phone. I highly recommend it and if you use a Android based phone then you will be right at home.

I don't know anything about these kinds of things. My mother-in-law has one and she loves it. She had someone with knowledge about these review tablet and he recommended this one. I have only had for a couple of days, and I LOVE IT. It is very easy to use and works great. My little boys (2 and 3 yrs) love playing on it too. I would recommend to everyone.

Waited until I read from ALL reviewers, computer geeks, magazines and all. I LOVE MY TABLET! When I'm not working, I'm on it, when I'm not sleeping, I'm on it. I can play all the games I want and watch all the movies, videos and clips without skipping or waiting for the computer to 'catch up'. For the amount that I spent, it is worth every penny.

My wife has a iPad 4 and she loves this Nexus7. It is not quite as good as an iPad mini but its very very good and costs a lot less. It is definitely the next best thing! $250 is a great value for the 32GB Nexus7 so I highly recommend it.

I am an older man and did have some trouble getting used to this tablet compared to using a laptop. However if you stay with it and are patient this is a great product. I have not had the issue of the screen cracking as some have had but I am not using it as much out of the house as say a teenager or child may do. The unit is fast and does connect to my wireless modem without trouble. I paid 250.00 and for that price I think it is a good value considering the memory and quad processor that is installed on this tablet.

Great tablet, be sure to buy a warranty! I bought my first nexus 7 from Google direct. The screen broke with no external cause like a drop at 3 months. Google will not do anything, ASUS says the screen never breaks unless it was dropped. It never was dropped. Goodbye $250.
Great tablet, fast, lovely display, meets all expectations, buy from Walmart with a warranty and never from Google.

This is a good tablet for the price, but I recommend waiting to see if Google releases a revised version at Google IO shortly.
I used an iPhone 4, iPod Touch, and an iPad 2. I bought a Nexus 4 to replace the iPhone, and I honestly don't see myself moving back to the iPhone any time soon....since I had given the iPad 2 to my son in high school, and loved the Nexus 4 so much I decided to get the Nexus 7 tablet. Tablet and phone aren't in the same league, of course, the tablet hardware is much older by tech standards so I should have expected the difference in performance.
It is faster and smoother than my wife's Kindle Fire, and much more flexible as far as what you can do with it.
It does feel a little on the cheap side, every now and then I will pick it up just right and it feels like the back half of the housing is flexing away from the front bezel. Every time it happens I stop and look it over to make sure its not coming apart on me. It never is......
It isn't a iPad killer, not even close....but at $250 for 32GB N7 vs $430 for 32GB iPad Mini, I wasn't expecting it to be.
Performs better than Kindle Fire, and isn't locked into Amazon.
I recommend this tablet based on price and performance, but that value comes at a trade off in how it feels in your hand. Its comfortable to hold, but does feel kind of cheaply built.

The best tablet with powerful Jelly Been, and unscratched (I don't use screen protectors# screen on today market. 32GB is more than enough. Auto rotating screen. Google taking care of it's "baby'', keeps updating Nexus 7 #Jelly Been 4.2.2#, which is a first thing you have to check before buying any other tablet. And Google Play Store is HUGE. I very much enjoy my Nexus 7 every day, and have no regrets buying it.

WARNING: Screen breaks after being dropped at almost any height, even when contained in padded casing.
My experience: tablet was in a padded coat pocket which fell off a 1 1/2 foot counter onto a hard wood floor. The screen had "spider" cracks across it and was totally unusable. Asus quoted me $165.00 to fix this tablet, which originally cost $199.00. You cannot use this tablet AT ALL when the screen has been cracked - IT"S A 100% LEMON!!!
The Nexus is great, until it breaks, and unless you live in a padded room and never raise this device above 1 foot off any surface, it will break
DON"T BUY DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS LIKE THIS! YOU WILL WASTE YOUR $$$
Amazon should stop selling this tablet until Asus fixes this defective screen
DO NOT BUY!!!

Through Walmart I bought 3 different tablets.
An iPad Mini, a 10-in Android, and the Google Nexus 7 32gb tablet.
I prefer either Android over the Apple product. The Google Nexus 7
order/delivery/pickup via Walmart was easy and uneventful.
The Nexus 7 was a breeze to set up...entered my email acct
and was instantly synched up with the other Android tablet.
I have not found anything that I dislike about it, other than it
was difficult finding a source for the smart cover w/ wake/sleep.
Walmart is now offering these via eBags, so that is no longer an issue.
You will LOVE this tablet! I have also considered buying it for a gift.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great tablet that is very easy to use and navigate. The Google app store has great apps and tons of them are free. Lots of room for the things you want. And the display is beautiful. The picture on this is better than my 1080p tv. Even my 3 year old can easily use this.
