Worth the Money, So Far So Good

I bought this tablet for my wife about a month ago and so far she really likes it. It's fast and there has been only one time that it had a problem hooking up to my wireless network; it also hooks up good at other hotspots we've been in. And to top it off, she loves that it is in her favorite color, purple. The camera on both sides is a great. The power button seems a little awkward, but so far, so good.

I ordered this tablet without being able to try one out at a store, and am only a bit disappointed. I was looking for something at this price point that had everything I wanted and this one does. the PROS...Ice Cream Sandwich OS runs fine, loved the color choices...I chose purple..the 16 gig was just what I was looking for and the 32 micro sd drive, the 2 cameras are great, and it is the perfect size. you have to remember THIS IS NOT A COMPUTER. the CONS... it's slow, and not very responsive to touch, the clock will not keep accurate time. you can set it manually, automatically and all other options. but nope. won't keep time. it takes a long time to load any games and going online is very very slow. at times it will just shut down. in the middle of reading a book, turning pages as necessary, it just closes the program. the screen is not crisp or clear as it could be. I chose this as a starter tablet and it's good for what I paid for it. bottome line...this tablet is ok. not great, but definitely not bad. it's a moderate tablet, at a moderate price and is a good value for the money. It has given me an opportunity to see how much use a tablet would be for me without breaking the bank. I would recommend this product.

This little tablet is very efficient and the price is reasonable. I purchased it for my son about a week ago and he loves it! So far, It works way better than the first one he had (Visual Land), which froze up a lot!!!!

This is not a very good tablet. We bought it as a Christmas gift for my daughter. After 3 weeks, we lost audio from the external speaker. This was caused when we plugged in headphones(known issue). It is now in for repairs because it will not charge.

I bought the FileMate because of the reviews given after I did a lot of searching. I was trying to save a few bucks and wish I had invested a few more to make a better purchase. Grant it the tablet was for my daughter and was fine while it lasted but that was only 2months. I made the purchase in December for xmas and it stopped working in February. Luckily I purchased the additional protection, which I did lose, through walmart because I was able to return it and was sent an e-card to make another purchase. I will not purchase another FileMate.

I bought my first file mate tab about a month ago but after freezing various times I decided to return it and re-order it. The second one arrived and not only did it keep freezing but it turned off completely and I was never able to do a reset, I returned that and got a galaxy 2 tab.... Major difference and it was only about $50 more.

I bought this table for my 9 yr. old grandson. loaded 60 games and Netflix to it from google store with no problems. The videos and games look great. Placed everything on the SD card. Loaded zoodles to control internet access.
The only negative I see with this tablet is after about 30 mins. of being on, it gets warm. I did buy the protection plan, but hopefully I will not need it.

My mother bought this for me for Christmas last year. As soon as I finished setting it up I went straight to the internet. The internet is extremely slow and unresponsive. The program tells me that it's not responding about five times before it actually loads. The tablet resets on its own at least every other week. It freezes quite often. Downloaded personal videos don't play well with high quality. Now my tablet has reset itself again but it will not turn back on. It stays on the "FileMate" screen. I've turned it on and off but it stays on the same screen. I used my tablet frequently to listen to music and go on YouTube. These are the most efficient actions it can perform.

Charging port horrible

I purchased a Filemate Clear tabley for my son for Christmas. Was satisfied with size, touch screen, apps, speed. The charger NEVER properly fit in the charging port. My son "misplaced" the tablet so I bought another one, thinking charging port would be better too.
SAME problem! And after literally ONLY 2 weeks it quit charging completely. I had the Walmart protection plan, all that did was return my money for the tablet, now only 2 weeks later I am out $28 I just paid for the protection plan. And of course at this point not going to replace with the same poor quality tablet.

Initial reaction far less than 5 star. Slow and glitchy. Contacted customer service, received immediate response with several tips for improving performance. Now have a greatly improved tablet. Couldn't be happier with the device and with Wintec's support staff. Highly recommend.

The first time I turned it on it went to the screen that says clear and froze. It wouldn't do anything. Then when my husband got it to come on apps kept closing/freezing and then it would go back to the clear screen and freeze again. It has done that at least once a day since I got it. Today though it did it 4-5 times...after the last time it did it we haven't been able to get it on at all. I am definetly taking it back.

internet net access is practically non- exsistent. the browser is SUPER S--L--O--W. The apps work just fine...great gift for a kid playing games from app store. Netflix app is good.

It uses google play ,which is great if your email is set up thru google .
I love mine use it every day and love it !!!

It has a great display. That's about the best it gets. It's extremely slow and constantly asks "this program is not responding, would you like to close?" On every app. Especially the browser/Chrome. Neither of those really work well. I would by-pass the tablet and get on my laptop if I really wanted to get on the internet. The best thing it was for was reading. I say "was", because I dropped it and it cracked #luckily I bought the extended warranty which covers drops!#. When they refund the money to me, I'm just going to save up and by a better one. #the Google Nexus 7# I recommend the same to you. Save your money and buy something that will really be useful.
