Poor TV

I needed a 24" TV and was trying to stay under $200. The picture on this tv wasn't too great, but I could have lived with it. The poor sound quality, on the other hand, I could not. I returned this tv and bought a 24" LG for $200--very satisfied (worth the extra $40).

Review 3 for Element ELEFW245 24" 1080p 60Hz LED (1.8" ultra-slim) HDTV
I have only had this TV for a week. I needed to replace a 22 inch Viore that stopped working suddenly after 1 1/2 years. Not a good deal. Therefore, when I purchased this one I included the two-year warranty. Safe bet for at least two years worth of watching in my office.

Review 4 for Element ELEFW245 24" 1080p 60Hz LED (1.8" ultra-slim) HDTV
I bought this to replace a 19" I had in my kitchen, and got my set days earlier from Walmart than originally estimated which was great. Picture quality is excellent. Sound quality is a little thin (not enough bass), but goes a LOT louder than the TV it's replacing, so I'm not disappointed. Love the fact that it has 2 HDMI ports -- something I found a rarity when searching the 20" - 24" TV range. Overall way worth the low cost.

Review 5 for Element ELEFW245 24" 1080p 60Hz LED (1.8" ultra-slim) HDTV
The price was great and the picture is excellent, but the speaker quality is really sub-standard. The default audio settings sound like your listening to the TV over a transistor radio connected to a tin can telephone. I was not expecting audiophile quality at this price point, and you can tweak the settings to improve the sound, but still the poor speaker quality is really noticeable. Of course, if you're using external speakers, then none of that matters. The only other issue, which seems to be typical of built-in digital tuners, is the lag time. Channel surfing is almost painfully slow. You really need to go directly to your target channel. With an external input source (e.g. cable box), this is also not an issue. With TV of this size/class lots of folks will not have external speakers or cable boxes, so these two issue will be problems.

Ordered my tv online and received on 2/13/13. Once again, walmart, and their product line exceeded my expectations. Just hooked up, but, so far so good. 1080p picture is better than i expected as well as the sound quality. had read many reviews on this unit. Was concerned about sound quality. Very happy with sound. Do not need an external speaker in my opinion. (remember campers, you must have HD service capability for best picture quality). Have scanned entire review complaints only to read at end of review that HD box was needed. Second LED full HD tv i have purchased from walmart. Second was a 46 inch full LED westinghouse. Would put my two picture qualities up against any comparable tv anyday. I am on disability retirement so price must always be a consideration to me. Majority of time in your purchase should be in research. Make sure it is what you want. Thank you walmart for everything. I feel very good about this purchase. Also bought two year extended warranty. $7.50 per year piece of mind. God bless walmart, and god bless all. Did want to mention that tv seems to lean forward after assembly to stand. Reason for 4 out of 5 stars in "features". Not a big deal to me.

I bought this TV in June 2012. It had great sound, picture and features. The last few months when I turn the TV on I have a white picture with sound. Then after 2-3 mins the picture will come on. I've tried unplugging it from the electrical outlet and reconnecting the cables with no luck. If it didn't have that problem it would be an awesome TV.

Review 12 for Element ELEFW245 24" 1080p 60Hz LED (1.8" ultra-slim) HDTV
I was a bit worried about this purchase because the price was so low, but so far everything is working well. I am using this as my computer monitor and the tuner has been a fantastic bonus. Sound is not the best and the stand is a bit flimsy also the stand will not tilt. but other than that all is good.

Review 13 for Element ELEFW245 24" 1080p 60Hz LED (1.8" ultra-slim) HDTV
Classic case of getting what you pay for. I ignored the other reviews that said the sound quality was subpar (an understatement). The only reason I'm keeping the TV is that it's in a spare bedroom that only gets used a couple times a year and needed something really cheap--which is what I got.

Review 14 for Element ELEFW245 24" 1080p 60Hz LED (1.8" ultra-slim) HDTV
If anyone walks into the room, the picture starts to jumble. Also, when I run the channel scan there are 2 Primetime stations that will NOT program...so frustrating! I would NOT recommend.

Review 16 for Element ELEFW245 24" 1080p 60Hz LED (1.8" ultra-slim) HDTV
The 24" Element TV is just what we needed in our RV bedroom.. The Price was right $148.00... The sound is average for a small TV... I adjusted the sound it to my liking. It does have a Headphone Jack. A lot of TV's do not have Headphone Jacks. I am very pleased so far.... It is what it is, a Good Cheap 24" HD TV.... ;-)

Review 19 for Element ELEFW245 24" 1080p 60Hz LED (1.8" ultra-slim) HDTV
Nice asthetics, picture is good, remote is cheap and the buttons are small and inconvienient. Volume and channel buttons are hard to find and should be larger than the rest. Sound is weak and mono even with the "stereo" settings maxed. It takes forever for channels to change. I got this TV to replace a CRT unit that died and needed a quick replacement for a bedroom. It will sufice for now but the remote and sound quality are getting old fast.
