If you are looking for long term safe room heat this is what you want. Our heating system broke and we needed emergency heat for our home while waiting for repair work to be done. This heater was great for long term safe use, especially for sleeping. It takes a while to get a room heated up, but does a very good job. You need keep it going all the time to warm the room. When it was freezing out we needed 3 to keep our cape house to 60. When the temperature was above freezing these had no trouble keeping our cape home very warm. The handle allows you to move it around where needed. One slowly heats a 13x22 room very well. (For fast attended heat we loved a Future Comfort ceramic heater with a fan that heats a bathroom in minutes .We also liked Optimus electric dish heater that heaters objects very fast. I would not leave these 2 types on unattended. )We had to turn off some heaters to run others electrical things or the circuit breaker would turn off. These saved us until our heating system could be replaced. I don't know how much the electric bill is going to be, but even oil heat is costly. I will use these again even when the heating is replaced. It would be great to sit next to to take the chill off on a cool day rather then heat the whole house in an off season.

Bought two of these when the furnace died and the repairman couldn't make it out until the next day. They satisfactorily heated two large rooms in below freezing weather.

Purchased my first Honeywell Electric Oil-filled Convection Radiator Heater a couple of years ago. It is still working fine. In that same time frame I have had three other ceramic and convection space heaters burn out. Just received my second oil-filled radiator heater February 2013. Feel confident they will keep me warm for years to come. Joe in North Carolina.

I purchased this item on sale for $49.99 (originally over $100) last week so I thought it was a great buy. WRONG! This heater barely heats up a small bedroom. It never reaches the set temperature. I can stand directly in front of it on HI and barely feel any heat. I get more heat just opening the oven after I bake. I am returning this to the store TODAY and going with a brand I know actually works, Lasko.

I originally bought this to heat my gigantic, drafty master bedroom at night so I could turn the thermostat in the rest of my house way down. It does a great job, keeping every corner of the bedroom a toasty 70° while the rest of the house is at 55°. It warms up surprisingly quickly too.
The only time it falls flat is when it's trying to heat up an extremely cold room. A few weeks ago, our boiler cracked and we were without heat for a week. The bedroom was at 38° and this could barely bring it up to 55° running on high all night. That's obviously an extreme case though. Overall I am very happy with this product.

I bought 2 of these because the price was good. They both worded fine until they are tipped over, which is easy to do. I bumped one last year and it stopped. I just wrote it off as I had knocked it over. I accidentally knocked the other one over yesterday (one year old
0 it is now dead - no reset button - it is supposed to restart after you put it upright - it will not power on at all - I have changed plugs, etc - It is junk. I will avoid Honeywell stuff except thermostats as that seems to be all they know how to make - I have had other brands that start right back uo after the tip over - you get what you pay for. This was 69.99. I have paid over $100.00 for the ones that work after tip over.

I was looking for a space heater so I would not have to heat my 3400 sq ft house, I wanted certain areas heated, I have had this for 2 winters now and am so pleased with this product. The heater heats my great room very well, when I want to heat more area I put a small fan behind the heater and that spreads the heat even father. I wake up toasty warm. I love it so much I go one for my sister who lives in very cold weather in the winter, now she uses that heater only. The heater does her entire house about 1500 sq ft home.I am getting a second heater.

Product was extremely easy to set up. Heats up fairly quickly and the temperature setting are great. The heater holds the temperature to whatever the user has set. Heats up a fairly large

I bought this radiatior because it has a digital setting you can use. But it also shows current temperature. When turned on it automatically starts on high. there is a tiny toggle on the left that allows the red bars on display to go from 3 bars down to 2 or 1. IF you set the temp. To 70 and leave the 3 bar setting it will go way above 70. I put it on the lowest setting and it will keep what ever digital setting I put. IT is all done with small toggle bars, other than the on button.
The only thing I had to put on were the wheels.

Great little heater. We keep our 900 sq ft home comfortable with two of them. Power bill less than heating with radiant baseboard units. If your home is well insulated they should work very well.

This heater is really nice looking and has two heat settings, low and high, and a timer that can be set in two hour increments. The first one I got from the store must have been dropped because it started to leak oil all over my floor, but the second one that I exchanged it for, is just perfect. It also doesn't make any noise at all.

This is a great product. I am surprised it performs as well as it does. We have a large, non insulated rec room that is a conversion of 1/2 of our detached garage. We've been struggling to heat it for the past several years in the winter with a fan + heating element type space heater. Within hours of plugging in the Honeywell, our rec room went from 29 degrees to 65 and held there. Now to be clear, I'm not sure the exact size, this is the 1 1/2 section of a 2 1/2 car detached garage with single pane windows and no wall or ceiling insulation at all, just drywall. We could easily get it up to 75+ degrees F if we had 2 of these, but with our mild winters here in WA state, 65 is plenty. I can get it to around 70 or so if I use the fan type heater we already had to supplement the Honeywell. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who has a difficult or even not so difficult space to heat. One other thing to note, is I haven't seen a real noticeable rise in our electric bill, maybe a little when we are using both heaters, but not even close to what I thought it would be.

The BEST !!! - Used for 3+ yrs, still runs perfect

I LOVE this Honeywell Oil radiator - Room Heater. We've been using this model for over 3 yrs now, and it runs as perfect as the day we got it. The units thermostat allows us to regulate room temp without worry or hassle. Especially love the 3 settings, we keep ours on the lowest energy usage setting and it still keeps the house wonderfully comfortable and saving us money at the same time. It has lowered our winter energy bill considerably - easily making it worth the money of the unit.
I just can't say enough about how much we rely on this unit - would buy it again in a heartbeat
We have 2 other brands, silmilar style, bought before we found this one, (in the other upstairs rooms of the house) and they don't hold a candle to this model - the Honeywell is by far, our 'go to' large room heater

Exceeded my expectations

I have had my Honeywell Oil-Filled Heater for five years and it has worked perfectly until yesterday, when it suddenly quit. In the past 24 hours, I have learned that you must be very carefully with the plugs on these heaters. If the plug is not plugged in 100% or becomes jarred a bit loose, it seems to overheat and back up into your heater, which then shuts down, and you won't be able to restart it for a period of time.
I had moved my heater into the doorway of another room, and the plug became a bit detached.
Other electric heaters I have require several hours of being unplugged in order to "reset" the internal thermostat. Thinking I would try that before ordering a new one, I unplugged it and pulled it aside for several hours.
When I wanted to plug it in for the night, it worked perfectly!
I run this little heater in the great room (living room - kitchen combo) on low at night, and it seems to keep our entire small house warmer than 55 to 60 degrees. I actually believe it saves electricity because we're not running every heater in the house on high trying to re-heat the house the next morning.
I'm very happy with this heater, and I would recommend it!
