This tablet does absolutely everything it says it does and has a really user-friendly appearance for young children. My 4 year old uses it with ease and never gets frustrated with something not working properly. Definitely recommend it!

loved the ease and accessibility of all of the options. my 4 year old grandson was able to get on wifi and even sent me a video mail the first night. i have read him 3 books so far, and he has responded with video email each time.
i love this..for a grandparent who lives away from his grandson-- this is PERFECT!
i get to see him and he gets to hear and see me...and we share our lives!

For any one thats wants to purchase a fun tab pro 7 for there child. Its not worth it, this is my second one in less that 6 months, quit working. Should have purchased a regular tablet since you can also install KID MODE on any tablet.

Camera never worked when my son got it for Christmas. Returned it to Ematic 3 months ago and it still has yet to be returned to me. This is one of the worst products and companies I have had to deal with!

I purchased this tablet for my 3yr old son who absolutely loved it. I also purchased the 2yr warranty. My son spilled something on it recently and I had to file a claim with walmart to get it replaced. Now the question is when will this item be back in stock. Because other wise how would I be able to replace it with a giftcard that i am waiting to recieve.

Ordered this to replace another tablet that went kaput after less than 2 months (fortunately also purchased from Wal-Mart & thus I was able to return w/o a hassle). My grandson just loves it; it works fine. His mother likes that she was able to set it up easily with parental controls; she esp likes that when he tries to access a game not on kid's mode, Ematic sends her an advisory email. She hasn't set up the rewards program yet, but as far as the tablet goes, he is loving it, even the educational games. Angry Birds is his favorite of all, though, and having it preloaded was a plus for this little guy. Sturdy product, easy for small hands to hold onto, unlike other ones with slippery backs. He liked that it came with other faceplates, also, a great idea. It is early to tell how well it will hold up...thus, the purchase of the extended warranty. I would never buy another without it.

My biggest problem with the system is that the directions to navigate the FunTab are not accurate. An example is downloading new games. The directions you are given to follow do not occur the way the instructions say. Many of the options on this FunTab I had to figure out on my own. Two weeks after giving this to my 6 yr old, I am still learning new things. So, if you are not computer savvy, like me, this system will be more difficult to navigate. The design and screen size are perfect for my 6 yr old. She quickly became bored with it, however, and I have not yet figured out how to download more age-appropriate games. I would recommend this and know my daughter will love it once I figure it out or call the service number for help.

I bought this for my 4 year old son because I was tired of him always being on my smartphone to play games or look at look at cartoons on utube. The system does that and so much more. I must admit that am addicted to the games and play this tablet for my own enjoyment. It works alot like an smart phone or table where you can go into the app store and download games or books. I have only used the free games which there are plenty of so I haven't seen the need for get any that cost money. I also did not upgrade to the premium account and still do not feel that I am missing out on anything. This product was well worth the money.

At a 129.00 i was a little unsure that this tablet would do what I needed it to do. I am so glad that I tool the chance and bought this. This was bought for my girlfriend's three year old son and any body who has kids can tell you that kids are not easy on electonic devices. He got this on March 5th, 2013 and since then he has tossed it down the stairs and and all around not treated it nicely but it has prevailed. Now, I would not suggest that you buy it and then start tossing it down stairs but the point is that it is pretty tough.
It took me a little while to be able to switch back and forth from the kid safe mode to the regular mode. Mainly because when I did the switch I was looking for the familiar Android type screen and what you see is more cartoon type stuff so it looks like a kid tablet. Not sure if I am explaining that correctly but if you purchase you will see what I am talking about.
This is not an Ipad, neither is it one of the windows 8 tablets but neither does it cost you half a months wages to purchase.
Before buying this for the 3 year old I purchased a Zeepad and while I think the Zeepad is nice I think this was is a better tablet. It has plugs in options up the ying yang. HDMI, USB, Micro USB, Micro SD card. I think the only thing that it doesn't have is bluetooth and that is not a big deal.
There is plenty of storage on the internal hard drive that I am not sure if you would ever need the SD card but it is an option.
I am not a computer tech kind of guy and I am sure that there are major differences between some of the more expensive tablets and this on but I don't know what it would be. I have not tried it but I am sure that you could hook a USB keyboard to it. Android has some nice word processing apps.
I don't know what else to say about this product other than so far I really think it is a good deal with a good price.
I would highly recommend it to anyone who had kids. I would tell them that this is cheaper than those Leapfrog things and you can do more with this plus it has the potential to grow with the child, until something new comes out.

I had to replace a Kurio pad that my grandson cracked the screen on, which he really liked. So in doing comparisons I opted to give the Ematic Fun Tab Pro a try. We are even more impressed with
its longer battery life, faster response time, age level updating programs for learning and ease of use. The parental and web controls are good also since his parents use it also. I would recommend
this to anyone with youngones as my Grandson is about to turn five and it will adapt to his learning levels. EXCELLANT Buy at a resonable price.

Well i'm new at computers but i got this for my grandson,his mom and dad know alot and they said i picked out a really good one .they love the features for parental use.It has so many games and easy to set up.he got it for his birthday and said i 'm the best grandma ever ,he'e 4 and has no problem with it .now he can send me pics and his drawings and mom can see via email all the things he does LOVE IT!!!!!!

I purchased one for my grand daughter for Christmas and this past week the charger stopped working. It wasn't the charger itself, but the connection to the tablet to the charger. When connecting the charger to other devices, the charger worked fine. We found that the tablet would no longer charge, so I went back to WalMart to turn it in. I found out that I had to use the WalMart.Com insurance procedures, since it was three months old and I add purchased the additional insurance...and the product wasn't carried in the store. (Although I picked it up there via the "Ship-to-Store" procedure.#. WalMart's insurance procedures was simple. They had me box up the product and had me take it to UPS for shipment back, and within 24hrs they sent me an email with a gift card code for the entire price of the product + taxes paid. #so I'm ordering another one.# That said, other than this issue with it no longer taking a charge, the tablet worked perfectly!! We were very pleased with all of the functionality of the tablet, the kids programs along with the progress information that it would send to my wife's email and everything. It actually kept track of her learning progression on the tablet's eduational games....Terrrific! Not only that, after going to the adult or regular mode, it worked as a normal full functional tablet with no limitations at all! I was able to load home videos and movies on it simple through the USB and/or SDCard. It's a great product! I was just sorry for those that had a bad experience with it on these reviews. My four year old grand daughter dropped it many times, with any problems noted. #Other than this week's faiure to charge anymore.# At any rate, since we had a good experience with it and our grand daughter loved it so much, I think it's well worth ordering another one....even after having the charging mechancism going out. I would just suggest taking out the additional WalMart insurance.

Don't buy this product. I was so excited about getting it for my 3 year old because it seemed like it was going to be a good product based on the video. I received it and it turned on that is it!!!! It would not even recognize my finger trying to start the set up process. Needless to say this thing is going back to Wal-Mart. Oh, and by the way, don't attempt to contact Ematic customer service because there is no phone number and they will not respond to e-mail!!! DON'T BUY IT!!!

We bought this product for our two kids for Chirstmas. They had it 2 months when my son dropped it, literally 2 feet off the ground, he is 5. The internal screen broke and when we contacted the company, ematic, regarding the 3 month warranty, they said the screen was not under warranty and we would have to pay $120.00 to replace it. The recommended ages on the box are 5-10. I think if that is the case, it should be a heck of a lot sturdier!! I would not recommend this $150.00 square of junk to anyone.

I'm sorry that your screen broke, but I have dropped a lot of these tablets to test them and have never seen a result like you are describing. We sell a silicone case, and Walmart sells a very affordable protection plan that would have helped in this instance.

I bought a regular tablet for my 5 year old and it was hard to maneuver and hold for her. She ended up dropping it and breaking it. I then saw this and it was perfect! It is shaped more for little hands to hold it and it is more kid friendly. She can use it very easily and really enjoys it. I highly recommend it for younger children.

My kids love this tablet. We bought it for our 4 year old for xmas and she can't get enough of it. The only downfall we have found is a couple of the games only work on wifi but other than that all the important ones work without so it doesn't affect us to much. My 7 and 9 year old both have their own setting on here too. We have tons of electronics in the house ipod touch, kindle fire, wiiu wii dsi 3ds ect. and all the kids still love this just as much. matter of fact they all trade and swap electronics with each other. But I would say the youngest plays it the most. Also This is great because its educational and controlled by parents. You never have to worry about what they are playing. My daughter took it to show her teacher after school who then asked her to bring it back and show the class. It is excellent the only reason I would give it 4 stars is because not all games play when you are not on wifi thats it. its durable educational easy to play ect. what more could you want. LOVE IT!
