Got this printer a few weeks ago and really like it. Works great. My only problem is that my computer "died" a week after I bought it and when I got my new computer in, it has Wiindows 8 on it. This printer is not compatable with Windows 8. I went crazy trying to get it to work until I found out so now I have to return it. FYI. don't buy Windows 8!!! Nothing but trouble.

Review 4 for HP Deskjet 3056A Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner
I have only had this printer one week. It does everything I wanted. I used the USB cable. Ergo, I didn't use the wireless function. The owner manual has almost no information, such as button functions, envelope printing, economically ink printing, etc.

Review 6 for HP Deskjet 3056A Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner
i bought this HP printer mainly because the printer i was replacing was an HP all in one, and it lasted me almost 10 years, and i am not sure it cannot be fixed, but, I wanted to upgrade to a wireless, so i could print from desktop or laptop, was simple to connect and if I can do it anyone can! the only thing i dont like is the lack of card slots for pictures, but that is ok.

Review 7 for HP Deskjet 3056A Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner
First off as far as Wal-mart is concerned the printer arrived in great condition and quicker than expected. I could not be happier with their part in this purchase. As far as the printer goes, so far I have been disappointed. First, I was under the impression that it came with full size ink cartridges. I hope this isn't the case because I ran out of ink in less than a week. I was originally excited about the ink when I saw it was a bit less expensive than what I was paying for my other HP printer but if I have to replace it on a weekly basis I will be spending more not less. Also, while printing a 25 page document the printer stopped and I received a message that the black cartridge was low on ink. I pressed ok and continued to print. Well, it wasn't low on ink it was out of ink and everything I attempted to print after came out completely blank. With my previous printer I got a warning and then was still able to print for a week or two before the pages started getting lighter and then running out. I guess I will have to keep an extra ink cartridge on hand since I can't afford to drop what I'm doing to run out and buy ink when I'm working. Since I do print quite a bit for work I almost always print in grayscale. Even when I choose the grayscale option the printer often times still prints in color and when not the ink seems much darker than it did with my previous printer (also an HP). I often only need to print certain pages and with this printer I only have the option to print all, current page or a range of pages (1-10) but I can't print random pages (ex 1-3,5,11-15,21) so I have to print each section of pages separately which takes more time than I am used to. The other disappointing thing about the printer is that I have been unable to get the wireless function to work. I was originally going to get a basic printer but decided to spend a little more for one with the wireless capabilities so that I could print off my laptop from another room in the house. When I try to print wirelessly I get an error message and then when I run trouble shooting I am told all systems are good to go. When I set up the printer I chose to do it wirelessly so now I need to change the setting/printer option each and every time I print. I am still not 100% sure I am going to keep this printer but I have bought an XL ink cartridge and I have someone coming by to see if they can get the wireless working. If the ink cartridge runs out too quickly I will probably look into returning it. I can live without the wireless but I paid more for it so I would like to get it working.

Review 8 for HP Deskjet 3056A Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner
I'd read reviews so was worried about installation. I've bought hp for years, so maybe that helped but installation went fine. Everything worked great. Except, the eprint, it installed fine, but when we tried to link smart phone, the printer all of a sudden didn't have the eprint light on. Took a bit, they go so far to make everything dummy proof when some thing goes wrong it takes an engineer to fix. website not much help, my issue wasn't one they listed. Got it fixed and don't expect anymore problems last hp printer lasted 10 years, hope this one does too..

Review 11 for HP Deskjet 3056A Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner
I set up this printer and it worked great. After a few days it stopped wanting to print. So I returned it and got my money back. The only good thing was the shipping was super fast and I didn't get any hassle returning it to my local store.

Review 13 for HP Deskjet 3056A Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner
Had an F2200 with which I could use to digitize family photos etc. It went out so this was my choice to replace the old one. With the old one I could load the scanner with multiple photos and scan them all at once, then the software would allow me to save each one in a seperate jpg file, expiditing the scanning process for boxes of photos. This new one will not do that. As a matter of fact, the software with it is way below the quality and functionality expected.

Review 15 for HP Deskjet 3056A Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner
The only thing about this computer is the printing of pictures. I replaced my old HP because of the lines in the pictures. This one does the same thing, only less noticeable. However, everything else about this computer is first rate. I love that it can be wirelessly used by my laptop.

Review 16 for HP Deskjet 3056A Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner
The HP printer that I had (purchased in 2005) was a great printer. User friendly, installation friendly, made well, I am so sorry it went down. I need a printer and like HP products that is why I ordered another. As I cannot afford any of the higher end printers, I settled for the least expensive but yet includes the functions I need; printer, copier, scanner. I would like to have included fax but I have a fax should I need it. This printer was not easy to install, it is all plastic, I really do not understand some of the features, it pulls multiple sheets of paper through when coping and it copies the last page of more than 2 pages first. I do not like this as many times I don't need the second page of some things and would press the cancel button on my other printer and avoid the wasted ink and paper. It just isn't a quality HP printer...my opinion. I am going to look into getting my old printer repaired and shelf or sell this one.

Review 18 for HP Deskjet 3056A Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Copier/Scanner
Spent an hour on the phone with HP tech support because the printer wouldn't work. Long story short, HP is mailing a defective part via ground transportation. When asked if they could send it priority or 2nd day air, the answer was "no." You're all heart, HP :-(
