Good Smart TV with a lot of potential. Had a heck of a time trying to wire it up to the digital cable box to a VHS/DVD recorder to a surround sound CD/DVD player. Had to spend another $45 bucks for extra cables though. Wished Viso would include a hard copy of the manual. Was finally able to get stores sales price rather than on-line price. Thanks to the stores Manager.

This is a great TV, and a great deal for the price. Couldn't be happier with the picture clarity and the sound, and I love the Netflix button right on the remote, so easy to use. We ordered this online, but later went to Costco and found the same TV and compared it to the others that were there, and it was by far the best picture I could find. Very pleased with our choice.

when this tv was picked up the box was a mess. There was no instructions inside and the packing was broken. We took the tv back and got one right out of the store that was better. We were very disappointed in the online one and I will never buy that way again.

I've had this tv now for a month. This is my first Vizio purchase, but i did my research before i decided on it. It has met and exceeded all my expectations. Picture quality is great, sound is above average, easy to set up. I use it for many applications. Video games, monitor for my lap top, use the built in wi-fi to stream netflix, and it performs beautifully. My only wish is that it had separate AV/ componet inputs. But it's not that much of an inconvenience. The buffering is really bad when i watch YouTube, but that may be my internet service. Great tv i would definately recommend. oh, the remote is pretty cool too:)

120HZ on HDMI really shines through. The remote with keyboard helps out when using apps. Only real downside is the sound. It's average. Will definitely need a sound system to match the great picture quality.

This is our first flat screen TV and couldn't be happier. Really like the the Smart TV internet features and movies are an all new experience (and we haven't even got a HD cable box yet!). Went with Vizio because they have always made quality monitors and the local bar has all Vizio. Great picture. There might be better out there but your going to pay for it. I read CNET reviews and I agree with them...go big as you can and then get the next size up or you will regret it. All else doesn't really matter because flat screen TV technology (as far as picture quality) is at it's peak.

I wasn't sure about buying this TV because I am one of those "you get what you pay for" believers. This was the least expensive 1080P Smart TV. After reading the reviews I decided to buy it and we are loving it! The first night I sat playing with the features and streaming Netflix. The apps are great and the remote is awesome. Went to a family member's house the next day and they had a comparable new LG model. I was so happy I did not pay the extra $250.00 for the LG. This TV's picture quality is just as good, if not better. I am not very "techy", but this TV is great for our living room and I feel like we got great value for the money!

Don't be fooled! Avoid!

I was looking for another television for my upstairs and this Vizio caught my eye. It's one of the more sleek looking Vizio models and had the smart tv options I was looking for.
I bought the tv at my local WalMart and took it home. Set up was quick & easy and within minutes I was checking out Netflix. At the same time I noticed the dreaded "soap opera effect." You know, where everything looks like a terrible soap opera no matter what you're watching.
I thought nothing of it, surely there would be a setting to disable this "smooth motion" feature. I looked and looked and there was no such setting. Checked the manual, which clearly states you can turn the feature off. After some research it appears the feature can only be disabled on the 60" model.
More digging on the internet revealed you can sidestep the look by turning "game mode" on. Only problem is you can only turn this feature on while using certain inputs. So using Netflix or Amazon instant this was unavoidable. I didn't want to have to settle on a tv so this had to go back.
I don't know why Vizio would put together such a nice looking tv and completely cripple it with this ugly feature. The smart apps move ok, but are still slow for the most part. Oh sound is terrible on it too. For the cost of this unit I was able to get a much nicer Samsung LED of the same size and a Sony blu-ray with smart apps that run way better than the ones on this tv.
Don't be fooled by the reviews here, do your research and get a better tv for the money. Unless you like making movies and TV look terrible. If you like that, then you should get it.
