I use this unit with my Bluray Home Theater (make sure to turn off the internal speakers to get rid of the echo), my media computer and my playstation. I do not watch "TV". Disappointed with YAHOO controlled streaming

Overall the set meets or exceeds expectations, however I paid extra for the streaming feature which is built in. After reading the terms and conditions of the YAHOO sponsored and controlled streaming set up, I don't believe that anyone in their right mind who carefully read the Yahoo terms and conditions would accept them. Instead I have opted to stream from my computer which is cumbersome but not controlled by YAHOO. In fairness to the customer, I feel VIZIO should disclose that the streaming feature is controlled by the YAHOO organization.

I was concerned about buying this Tv because I had read reviews where it would not work with Directv . Well, I called both Directv and Vizio before buying it to see if they knew of a problem with the two working. They had not had any knowledge of this being a problem so, I bought it and it works fine . The only thing I can think of is maybe the two people that had problem with this connecting is they may not have updated their Directv boxes .

This is our fifth Vizio to buy for our new home - for the price you can't beat the quality, picture, sound and just the whole package - Also the dependability - we have had an old 42" Vizio out in our Barn that we like to use for parties, etc. for 6 years now and it has been through 104 degree Texas Summer heat and 23 degree temps in the winter and it is still going strong.

Set up very quickly and had no problems at all. Network set up was simple and easy! Value for the dollar is super, with a great picture, even when placed next to a window with bright outside light coming in! I would recommend this TV to anyone.

It's my understanding that flat screen TV's don't have great sound, due to the speakers location in the back/bottom of the TV. I currently now own 5 flat screen TV's. This Vizio has the poorest sounds quality of all of them.

I love this new tv. However right out of the box the remote did not work. Kind of made me mad they sent one out that night. I left for a trip 3 days later and it was waiting for me when I got home so I'm not sure how long it took. It does make me really worry about the remote in the future. How long will it last I hope forever lol.
Sound was a little off and I ended up moving it into a different section of the room and it fixed the problem. When I get some extra money I'm buying a sound bar for it tho. But really just cause I want to not a need.

I bought this Vizio to replace my old Toshiba just to update for all the new things like Netflix, F/b and all the other things you can get on a smart tv. Tv remote was difficult to use had to push the button in and keep it pushed down for a longer period than most remotes. Had to make call to company to fix problem with remote shortly after 2 wks....within 1 month remote is broken. and I can only use tv with cable box and those channels. I prefer to watch netflix if I can but without the remote I can't use this feature!.. The rep said the remote will be sent to me in 7-10 business days. Anyone who knows about business days means weeks........So no I am not happy with my choice. The company in california shouldn't take that long to ship anything....Even though I absoltely love the idea that they are US based and you talk to an American tech delivery of products like the remote shouldn't take weeks. That is so un called for....what's' wrong with overnight on something like a remote.....when you can't use the features without it. Thousand dollars mistake....

I was very undecided about purchasing this TV after reading reviews but we love it. Yes, it takes about 15 seconds to power on but it shouldn't deter you from buying it. We got a great price and everything we have worked with it with almost no setup. My husband changed a few settings for various things. I love that we can connect to the Internet through our wifi and watch Netflix.

The tv is decent. The remote is not complicated. The tv materials do not seem cheap. The biggest problems are: the tv takes to long to turn on and pandora has to be downloaded from the app menu and it takes a little bit for it to turn (around 30 seconds). I know that does not seem like a big deal but it makes a difference. Also, some of the apps are "buggy" but that should be fixed with a newer model of the tv. Netflicks works great. The sound is not amazing, because of the speaker placement on the tv, so if you want a sound bar that would be optimal.
Overall the tv is average.

This TV was better than I expected for the price. Could not get the WiFi to work (I'm not very good with this stuff), but after hooking it directly to my cable I was able to access all the online features. The picture is so clear, especially in HD. YES, as in other reviews, it does take about 20 seconds for the TV to first come on, but its worth the wait! The sound is really good, but it would be super with a sound bar. Overall, I LOVE this TV. I will be buying a VIZIO again...
