My parents bought this system. Some of the speakers do not work. The DVD player controls the volume, but only on movies played on it. If you hook up your TV to it, there is no volume control. It is way too loud. The DVD player has to be turned all the way up to hear the surround sound for the movies, and you have to use the surround sound system to hear the movies. You can't use to TV speakers at all. I tried the trouble shooting ideas. When I still couldn't get it to work right, I e-mailed tech support at Coby. My e-mail was never even acknowledged, much less answered. Don't waste your money or time.

didnt get it in the time frame i was told. and when we did get it 3 of the 5 speakers didnt work and it was very very cheaply made took it back and returned it.....
