The extra head and differing hands give this figure a lot of play value, even if you have the previous version (with only the masked head). The accessories of the backpack and skateboard might be more Peter Parker than Spider-Man, but that's the point, isn't it?

It's a Christmas present, so it remains unopened. The product arrived on time and in good condition; the likeness to Andrew Garfield is so-so at best, but this isn't in Wal-Mart's power to control. Or is it? Maybe they should demand more accurate sculpts next time...

I was looking for a Spider man that was the size of a Barbie for my three year old daughter and thought this was perfect until it arrived... it's wayyyy too short (barely 6 inches). It was supposed to be 12 inches and nothing close to it! Will be returning it!

This is a great figure. It has very good detail, Peter Parker's head looks spot on as does the Spider-man head. I really like that it has the interchangeable heads.There is not that much detail on the backpack or the skateboard but they still look fine. You can also attach the skateboard to the backpack like in the movie. I like the connecting base so you can connect it to the Avengers figures. I do wish it had the black webbing detail, but if you want you could fill it in yourself. The articulation isn't perfect as it gets a little tough to pose in certain ways. But overall it is a great figure for any superhero collector.
