I repair old movie projectors and they often need expensive new rubber belts to get back into working condition. I got a tip off the internet that I could glue the old belt together with Bondini 2 (and no other) and that the resultant belt would be sturdier than a new one. I felt the advice was dubious, but I thought I would try it, and boy am I glad I did! This glue almost miraculously allowed me to shorten a belt to make it fit tighter. As you can imagine, these belts get a lot of stress, but the Bondini holds tight!
