Review 1 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
I've had this Dyson model for about 2 weeks now. I'm very impressed with the suction power and in particular the great job it does on hardwood floors. This is my 3rd Dyson, and I would never switch. I've had 2 uprights & decided to try a canister style this time. I believe the canister is better on hardwords for ease of use compared to the uprights (though both styles are great) and easier to vacuum steps.
I would recommend this vacuum to anyone who has both hardwoods, carpet and pets.

Review 2 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
I vacuumed my whole house with a cheaper vacuum that I had never had any issues with and then a friend lent me her Dyson for a day. I was shocked at what was still coming up after vacuuming so I bought myself one and haven't been disappointed. Its easy to maneuver around the house and the head fits under things and pivots around things with no effort. Very happy with my new vacuum.

Review 3 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
This Dyson is the best! I needed a powerful Vacuum and that is exactly what I got. I am amazed at how much suction this Vac has compared to some of the others. It is made of durable material and the best part is that it affordable. The first thing I did was vacuum my living room where the floor already looked clean and was I shocked to see how much stuff was really down in the carpet. Then I went out and vacuumed out my car and it looks fantastic and my back wasn't killing me from spending all day trying to get the dirt out. I think I have found my new favorite house cleaning tool! A great Value and money well spent. Thank you for such quality!

Review 6 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
I have hard wood floor and I noticed that the Dyson gets debris/hair stuck around the brush unless the vaccum head is put on the carpet setting. But once it is put on the carpet setting the brush gets spinning and all the debris/hair is sucked up perfectly fine. I will be moving to a place where I will have carpet so this little glitch in this particular machine dosen't bother me to much. But it does pick up very small particals real well like dust on floor setting.

Good vacuum overall but the hose on this model is terrible. It is very stiff and hard to maneauver. My daughter has the pet model and her hose is softer and bendible. Also you have to reach down to the beater bar and pull a disk out or push in to engage it. Great on floors, but on carpet it tends to stall because it runs on air suction not motor propelled. It picks up well, and is light to carry around. I like it, but I think for the price they could make it more user friendly.

Review 8 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
It works well so far. It's easy to empty the canister. I like extra attachments and the way it pulls the power cord back into the base. I, also, like the fact you can turn off the brushes since my old one would fling stuff around on hard woods. I don't like the flimsy plastic that holds the handle upright in the base though.

Review 9 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
This vacuum is great for all hard floors and for dusting. I have a post and beam home that gathers lots of dust on the wood surfaces and this vacuum plus the Dyson home cleaning kit works extremely well for dusting all these surfaces - including lampshades! The Dyson hard floor articulating tool is a great addition to this vacuum for hard floors. This model Dyson is NOT for mid or deep pile carpets. The turbine attachment is good only on low pile carpets.

Review 10 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
I would recommend this vacuum to anyone who owns a travel trailer/RV; however, I would not recommend it for a home. It does a great job in my little space as it has good suction power, much more so than my last canister. It is compact and fits under the bed (the typical storage space that travel trailers have under the bed). I would recommend this to a friend, but not for home use. I give it a rating of 4 stars for travel trailer/RV use.

Review 11 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
Best cannister vacuum we've ever had. It has great suction and cleans wood floors and carpet very well. Very easy to empty the waste container. Rolls and turns very easily. We're glad we bought the more powerful DC 23 rather than the DC 26.

We love this vacuum. Our only issue with it is, as others have noted, on very short nap rugs it tends to be difficult to move back and forth because the suction is so strong. There is a trigger that diverts some of the suction so that does help. On most carpets and floors it is superior to any other vacuum that we have owned. What makes this vacuum really shine on hardwood and tile floors is the bare floor tool that we had to buy separately.

Love this vacuum. Works really well on hardwoods and laminate flooring. Easy to move around. And the extendable hose makes it easy to go from storage to use in one click.

Review 14 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
It has a pressure release to slow the suction so if you need to do throw rugs so you don't suck them up like in an old cartoon. The Mini Turbine tool did a great job on the truck carpets took some very old mud out first pass. The thing does not lose suction period....

This vacuum is much lighter than the other canisters I have tried. It maneuvers well and is easy to assemble. I love the warranty of Dyson products and I'm looking forward to using this vacuum for years to come.

Review 17 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
I was skeptical because it's so small- i've only used it once, the suction is fab- works great on floors with tile and hardwood. Hard to push on carpet but i think the lever on the handle pulls in the suction to allow for carpet use. The vote is still in on the carpet and is it actually picking up dirt when you pull on the reduce suction lever. It's all plastic BUT it's sturdy- way better then the Kenmore i tried. The hose is great so far- doesn't tangle at all. Super easy to clean the dirt container. For the money it's at least 75% good. Let's see how i feel about it in a year! But so far, it's a keeper.

Review 20 for Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum with Bonus Mini-Turbinehead Tool ($70 Value)
I've been reluctant to spend the money for a Dyson but with the special purchase model available at Walmart, I decided to buy. The quality is top notch. The turbine head canister vacuum is extremely well constructed. The design is efficient and user friendly - parts snap together smoothly and easily. Emptying the canister is simple and clean. I'm really impressed (especially when comparing to a "similar" competitive vacuum I own) with every aspect. It also cleans very effectively - I purchased a separate head for hardwood/tile floors. While it probably wasn't necessary, the attachment is very versatile in getting to the hard to reach places. I opted for a canister model because a shoulder injury makes it difficult to maneuver an upright. This model is light weight and easy to operate without giving up cleaning power. Thanks to Walmart for providing a great item at a reasonable price!
