Bike is sleek and light weight, Husband seemed very pleased with it. My husband wanrted a Tour de France Road Bike , and we looked online at many before deciding on this one. He desired the $&00-$1000 models, but they were financially out of reach! He liked the thin tires and retro handle bar look on this bike. The young man who helped load it at our local Walmart actually thought it was a $600-$700 dollar model bike as he discussed with me how he had seen them assebling it at the store and he would love to get one like it for Christmas!

I purchased this bike as my first road bike from Wal Mart and had it shipped to the store for pickup. It arrived in four days and was honestly VERY easy to assemble. It includes two packets of instructions but they were not needed as the parts are preassembled and simply need to be put together. The bike has the best derailleur I have ever experienced. I once a Schwinn (older model from the sixties) and it didn't even compare. It shift silently and responsively- even up hill under tension. The brakes are very good however I did notice some slipping when wet but that was due to my own calibration error. Once I had it tuned at the shop thing worked amazingly. This bike is stiffer in response from other road bikes which is what I personally prfer, you can throw into a slide very easily when neccessary. The tire pressure is 80 psi and too difficult for a manual pump so I advise a compressor. Overall this bike is very lightweight, responsive and well put together. The seat is a bit hard but on a road bike you shouldn't use the seat too often anyway. I would have been happy paying even $600+ for this machine, very satisfied!
