I bought this cooler so that I'll be prepared for the next power outage! We did not own a hard-shell cooler, and our power was out for nine days. I really could have used this cooler - I could have bought ice at a nearby supermarket with power and kept milk and a few essential items cold in the house. I had to keep going to the open supermarket for nine days, buying just what we needed at the moment. This will come in handy because I'm sure there will be more hurricanes and storms in the future. It seems well constructed and the size is great.
