This FUJIFILM Finepix JX500 Digital Camera comes with 5x Optical Zoom Lens. This FUJI Finepix 14MP HD Digital Camera also features a 2.7" LCD display that's been redesigned to be seen easier in sunlight when users are composing pictures or reviewing their shots. It also comes equipped with a 5x Fujinon optical zoom lens (26-130mm equivalent to a 35mm camera) with a powerful 14MP sensor designed to capture scenes packed with detail. Smile and Shoot and Blink Detection ensure that users never miss a memorable moment and as this camera has been re-engineered to lock focus on subjects in a shorter time than previous models, users are virtually guaranteed never to miss a shot that matters. I needed a new camera but didn't know what I wanted to replace it with. I wanted a simple to use camera at a reasonable price. I'd read other camera reviews and they were mixed. Then I saw the Fujifilm camera and noticed that it had ranked high with other users. I read a few reviews and liked that they were impressed with the picture quality. I am also very happy with the picture quality and my husband is very happy with the video quality.

Unfortunately because this camera came broken, preview screen was tinted purple and only took blurry pictures we had to return this to the store. It looked like a great camera for our daughter (almost 5) but because this was a Christmas present we couldn't wait for a new one to be received, we tried to purchase a camera of similar price, but there was nothing under $100! Instead we ended up buying a slightly more expensive camera at Sams but nothing near as expensive that Wal-Mart offered.

I purchased this camera for my 4 year old grand daughter and she had it charged and taking pictures in no time... It was a little smaller than I expected but that was my fault because I didn't read the dimensions but overall it is great camera for a beginner at a great price... The 100 free prints will also come in handy when she is ready to start developing the many pictures she has already taken... Including the one of me sleeping.

She loves to take pics and asked for a real camera for Christmas. She has figured out how to use it and loves to show people the pics she has taken. She also figured out how to take video. Have not printed out the pics yet, but they look good on the camera.

This camera takes good pictures if you have the right setting for the picture. If you leave it on auto it comes out all fuzzy and not very clear. You also have to be holding it very still. You can't take a good picture if your shaking. The zoom on the video is really good! That is my favorite thing about this camera. It works great for a point and shoot camera but if you want your pictures to look a bit more professional go with a more expensive camera.

This is a first time camera for my daughter! She loves it! The case feels a little cheap but for the money this was an excellent gift! The black and white setting has taken beautiful photos of the family pets. I would definitely say this was a good buy!

I bought this camera for my youngest child. Very impressed with how easy it is to use. Takes really good pictures of lights in the dark on the fireworks setting. Auto adjust feature is much better than some more expensive cameras I've used. Easy to delete photos but can't be done accidentally. Screen is pretty easy to see even in bright light. Great camera for a beginner or the technically challenged.
