I thought this would be a great toy for my 16 month old. It was rated one of the best toys for his age group. When I received it however, I was not impressed. It is soft plastic so they can't hurt themselves but it has no moving parts (except the wheels) and I thought that wasn't very much fun plus he is going to outgrow it quickly (it was suppose to be a Christmas present). So we returned it and are looking for a real Tonka Truck. I would recommend this for 9 mo+. Also it was much smaller than I expected

this toy is great for children its its some kind of soft plastic like rubber its very durable and tuff and i think its safe for those kids that like to throw things in case we get hit we might not have to go to the emergency room
