Shakespeare Shakespeare Ugly Stik Bigwater 9'0" Fly Rod
This Shakespeare Ugly Stik fly rod uses the Clear Tip design to help provide strength, flexibility and versatility. The Shakespeare fly rod. 9'0", features blanks that are epoxy coated to protect against UV rays. In addition, the Howald Process™ Double-Built™ blanks come with E-Glass outer construction and a graphite core. Shakespeare Bigwater Rods are made with "Ugly Tuff™" EVA grips, which are long-lasting with quality cork interiors. This fly rod comes with a graphite Fuji® reel seats with corrosion-resistant stainless steel cushioned hoods that are light yet durable. This Shakespeare Bigwater Rod also features Fuji brand stainless steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts.

Very nice value. Suprisingly good presentation for a rod this heavy. Handles large bugs with ease. Swings big streamers in big water. You can put a centerpin reel on it and drift fish it, as well. It's strong, strong, strong. In fact, if you hook something that can break this rod -- even with bad handling on your part -- then you better get away from the water!
