I bought this laptop because of the great price and I needed one with a webcam. I am still figuring everything out but so far I am quite satisfied with this computer. The blossom & butterflies design isn't really my style but I'll be buying a skin to cover it up, so don't let that phase you.

I Was Sooooo Excited When I Received This Laptop For Christmas, But As Soon As I Turned It On, It Sounded Like Static Was Coming Out Of The Speakers.... I Tried Playing A Video On You Tube And One Of The Sample Music That Laptop Comes With But All It Would Do Was Sound Like Static.. It Sounded Really Bad. I Tried The Earphones And The Sound Was Really Clear , So I Tried Restarting The Computer To See If It Would Work But Same Thing... Then I Tried Turning It Off And Taking Out The Battery Then Starting All Over But Nothing Worked. I Ended Up Having To Return The Laptop, But To My Surprise It Was No Longer At The Lower Price I Had Bought It For And Walmart Would Not Give Me Another One For The Same Price So I Was Very Unhappy. Too Bad Cuz I Really Liked It!

I purchased this HP product for my mother who is 80 years old. I like it because it is light weight and not intimidating. She will be able to Skype and shop for store coupons. I believe she will like it very much. It is HP and is a quality product.

i got this for my wife as an early preseant, seemed like a good deal since it wasnt too expensive and it was replacing a netbook. she charged it and got through the first startup and now it crashes and says the graphics card is shot. contacted hp, they said it's possibly the motherboard as well. i have had many other hp products for a few years with no issues, this computer lasted 3 days before it has to go back to hp.

I was trying to find a Windows 7 computer which is why I chose this one. However, from the first time I turned it on, the fan motor was fairly loud, which should not be the case with a new computer. Also, when I went into Properties at one point, I noticed a feminine name in front of the drive information, which made me think someone else had owned this at one time. I did not purchase this as a refurbished computer and paid full price.
It seemed to work well, other than the noise of the fan, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I did not want to pay that much for something that was not new, so I returned it.
I think a new one would be a good purchase and would recommend it if the fan were quiet, as it did seem to work quite well otherwise.

My husband bought this computer for me for Christmas. I love the size and functionality. It is also very pretty! My only negative would be on the way it was packaged and shipped to me. The computer was in its HP box then packed inside a very, very large box with a couple of long pieces of packing paper with it to supposedly add cushioning. The HP box rattled around in the big box as a result. The Walmart box was not damaged in anyway in shipping, however the HP box rattling around inside the shipping box was somewhat mangled on one side. I don't know if this happened in transit or if it was damaged before it was put in the large shipping box. Luckily the damage to the HP box was on the side where the power cord was packed. For the rough ride that the computer must have encountered on its trip to my house, thankfully it does not seem to have suffered for it and is operating well. I would strongly recommend to the Walmart shipping department that they take better care of the merchandise in the warehouse and re-train their packers to ship sensitive/delicate items much more securely.

This computer is all I need. I use it for Internet searches, travel, e-mail, and Facebook; also, photos, and games. I do a few personal letters on occasion as well as spreadsheets; I don't do any work from home. I like that I can play DVD's on it as well. It's small enough to travel with but has a screen big enough to see. I also LOVE the butterflies and flowers! A good value for the money.

I'm in love with this laptop. Not only does it look beautiful, it runs great & it's easy to set up. I have no problems with it, so far! :)) It was so worth the money I gave for it! Got the matching case as well, just beautiful!! :)) I get compliments on it all the time. I would recommend this laptop & also the matching case to anyone. Even though the case is soft & most would like a more hard case carrying bag for more protection. I'm happy either way it goes. :)) Great laptop!!!! Love it, love it, LOVE IT!!! lol :))

So far everything is working OK. I like the design. I don't mind that the calculator keypad was eliminated - I don't have a need for it. The raised keys are easy to use & big enough to be useful. I wish that the button that opens & closes the DVD tray was a little bigger. I bought the laptop to use for machine quilting - storing designs, downloading designs, listening to music while sewing, streaming quilting videos & taking on-line quilting classes. I got a little scare when trying to use the quilting organizer program (converts files to a format usable with a quilting machine). When I selected a theme to display in the organizer, the file edit cut paste icons didn't appear. The solution was to select the default theme & all was well. I have been using the laptop for several weeks & it meets my needs.

So I had this laptop for maybe a few days now and I am a college student so I went right to using it as if it's been mine forever. There is alot of truth in the low rated reviews! The downfall to this beautiful design is that you are basically purchasing a slow laptop it's not dreadful slow but for people who want lighning fast speed this laptop IS NOT FOR YOU! go find another one lol =)
