Worked fine for first 3 days then just died......very disappointed....returned for full refund and will not purchase again....found out 2 people i have spoken with had issues with their's as well....one overheated and the other tablet gradually lost it's color...screen has faded....

I ordered this table in purple for my daughter for her tenth birthday. We have had it for about three weeks. The shipping was fast I received it in two days. It has google play which is a plus as well as skype. She watches netflix on there too!!! However the battery does die pretty fast but it could be because they play with it alot. Thats why I gave it four stars. My seven and four year old always play on it as well. Will most likely order them one too. Definitely a good non expensive tablet for kids and beginners.!

Wanted to play with an android/goggle powered product. This tablet has plenty of memory, reasonable battery life and a processor fast enough for standard video/facebook/angry birds.
Will handle most android apps with exception of high security sites like Fidelity and Bank of America.
Handles Microsoft outlook. Synced well with music and photos off my HP Lap top.
If you are looking for a under $100 tablet, I would recommend it.

I purchased this for my 6 year old son, he loves it and has had no problems using it. My husband and I have windows 8 smartphones so he was already familiar with how touch screen devices work. He's dropped it a few times and so far it seems to be holding up really well. It isn't quite as fast as our phones but we didn't expect it to be. If you are looking for something to run that fast then this probably isn't for you.
This tablet has the Google play store so you have access to all the android apps, games, etc. The battery seems to last a few hours before he has to plug it in and that is with the wifi on the whole time. Overall we are very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive tablet for their kids.

It's been over 2 months since I bought this for my 4 year old daughter to help her along with learning computers and stuff. It works great and was easy for her to quickly learn in a couple days how to navigate and use it without my help. She uses it with ease watching netflix eduational shows, plays educational game apps that I had no problem downloading from Amazon. She loves using the camera taking lots of pictures of cartoons that are showing on t.v. and she even knows how to use the video camera. She was never interested in computers like her 5 year old brother but this helped her get into it and enjoy technology. Battery life seems good, I haven't really kept track but it's over 6 hours easy with no problem. If you know how to use a laptop or desktop then it should be easy to learn how to use a tablet. There are it's differences and if you have no patience then I guess the problem would be with the operator not the tablet. The touch screen works fine, response time seems to be quick not lightning fast but quick. This little tablet keeps my daughter entertained for hours and I never heard her complain to me about it not working in any way or asking me to fix something. Good tablet for the money if you ask me and I sure would recommend this to anyone. I've never come across anything that others complain about that I have read in the reviews. I'm sure there will be a few of those that malfunction for what ever reason and there are those that malfunction because of operator error or abuse. This item is described as advertised. By the way my daughter loves her PINK tablet. Oh I almost forgot, it was easy connect to my wireless network.

I found this as I was trying to find my grandaughter a graduation gift. It arrived 3 days early and was the perfect gift. It meets or exceeds her expections. I also ordered the 2 year extended warranty for any breakage or damage. Great buy and fantastic delivery.

Perhaps because I am not computer savvy, I had trouble with the tablet. Even tho I used the stylus I found I had to hit the keys over and over again as I would think I hit the right one but it wasn't. Therefore it took me nearly a half hour to write a half page letter. I got disgusted and will only use it for plane travel not to fall behind in the e-mails I wish to read. Give me my laptop which I can use with ease.

after going thru another brand of tablet , twice(i had the walmart extended warranty), i got this tablet. I could immediately tell this was a better quality tablet by its feel/weight.
The other tablet I had felt cheap, the internet browser crashed constantly and was slow.
This tablet responds faster, and hasnt crashed yet.
Of the less than $100 tablets here this one exceeds the others by far. I plan on buying another very soon

We were very happy at first - I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. Within 2 months, I had to replace the power cord. Within 5 months I sent it back because it would not turn on. Luckily I purchased the extra warranty and was reimbursed for the full amount I paid.

I am overall pleased with my HKC but one thing needs work. On one of the screens you can't read the entire words on the selection choices on the right side of the screen. They are like only 1/3 visible. That needs to be changed. You can't easily make a selection when you can't read the words!

This has a lot of features and comes loaded with applications. I couldn't find anything negative with it. Works great, has good range on WIFI. Has the best rating feedback of all the tablets. Great value for the dollar. It was a toss up between this and Nextbook.

Please, please, please spend more and buy the NABI 2 for kids, or a Galaxy Tablet. HKC tablets are practically disposable. I have had an iPhone, a Nexus 7 and a Kindle Fire... All have been dropped and none have cracked. The first HKC that failed was dropped 1 foot or less and the corner of the screen shattered. The second one lasted 6 months and now has a mysteriously cracked screen. No drop, no mishandling. My daughter guarded hers with her life practically and even though she took excellent care of it, this thing is JUNK. DO NOT BUY!!!

This is my first tablet. I've discovered a major problem. This tablet, like many, does not allow full access to the user. In Windows we call full access "administrative privileges" and in Linux we call it "root access." It means you can't even be aware of security breaches and you absolutely can't control access to sensitive data. I would never use my credit card or transmit other sensitive data using a tablet of this type.
I wanted to use this as an mp3 player so I could play downloaded podcasts and music while I go to sleep. I thought it would be a simple procedure that had been perfected many years ago since mp3's have been around over a decade. Nope. This HKC P771A 7" Tablet doesn't have a timer and I can't install a timer from the Google store because that requires root access. The built in mp3 player won't manage playlists well. I tried a couple of different media players but the soft controls within any app, on this tablet, often don't work or cause an undesired shutdown of the app. So, no timer and no reliable media player means I can't use this tablet for music, podcasts, or video.
One day after I started using this, some "service" forced updates to about 15 apps even though I told it "no." That increased RAM use from 300MB to 500MB and the tablet became severely sluggish after that. It also meant that half of the available RAM for apps is now used up even though I didn't want to waste that much. I'm not going to bother trying to remove unused apps because it's obvious there's too much placed beyond user control. Things are sure to be "gummed up" no matter what I do. I'll just be wasting my time.
Google doesn't like Adobe (Macromedia) Flash so you can't use any web site that incorporates Flash and you can't install Flash because you can't get root access to the tablet. Google also doesn't allow AAC audio for some reason. You can't install that either. (No AAC means no "IHeartRadio" app. No Flash means there's lots of web sites that are inaccessible--like my local tv news web sites and my local newspaper site.)
So, because of these limitations, I can't install the apps for my local tv news, NOAA (weather), newspaper, Trimarc traffic cams, local public library, and several others.
Some hacks are mentioned around the web that will "root" a tablet but they are often unreliable. They would surely void the warranty. There's only a 90 day parts/labor warranty on this device so I could wait 90 days and try the hack but chances are it would fail.
Is it worth $79? I don't know. Maybe. I'm going to give it a few days but I'm keeping my receipt and original packaging handy.
