Bought this after returning the "bat wing" sold by Walmart. The bat wing didn't work at all, 0 channels, this one gets all the DTV locals, a total of 7 in my area. Very satisfied with this purchase and would invite anyone to try it out before spending more money on something else.

Good antenna but not very sturdy

This is my second antenna like this. They both brought in channels well but when I try and move the antenna to get a better signal the 'rabbit ear' broke at the base. I took the first one back and just taped this one back together. I've heard it brings in a better signal than the higher priced ones. It brings in 23 channels in a rural area for only $10 so I can't complain.

Depending on where you live and the availability of off air stations, this antenna works great. It enables us to get at least 12 off air channels in VHF and UHF. Theres no snow, and the picture comes in crystal clear. Until now we were missing the major networks and broadcasts for which we had to use cable but now with this antenna, we are set and I strongly recommend it for anyone using a HDTV.

For the money I paid, this is the best I've every used. I lived in a town of 2000 population and it gives me 13 local channels and saves me all the money. I have a DVD player than can scream Netflix. No cable fee every month. It is great!.

I bought this after buying and returning the "bow tie" RCA antenna. This one worked like a charm. I'm pulling in 24 channels now. Maybe not the most attractive, but it works.

Great Antenna for the Price

I have two outdoor antennas setup for my OTA setup (cancelled satellite 18 mos ago). I wanted this to hook up to my computer so I can use Windows Media DVR. I really wasn't expecting good results. I received many channels (30 or more) in Davie Florida- more than one of my outdoor antennas. I then set it up to Windows Media and it worked great. The WM DVR is very easy to use. One problem- I couldn't connect my laptop to my FR TV (it did work in the bedroom). It must have something to do with a connection on the tv because it worked before. I would strongly recommend this antenna.

I am very grateful to all the reviewers. I relied heavily on their comments to decide to buy this antenna. I was not disappointed. It works great. My husband first got suspicious when I told him how much I paid for it (how can it be good for this price?), and he had to admit that it does the job! I have not tried expensive antennas so I can't really compare, but we get all the free stations (we live in Colorado Springs) with a really good definition. I couldn't ask for more!

I bought a GE powered indoor antenna for around 30 dollars, took it home and it only recieved 3 channels no matter where i put it in my house. I returned that product at walmart and picked up this antenna for 10 dollars. Hooked it up and instantly got 20+ channels in great detail. Great product for a 1/3 the price.

Well its cheap and thats it. It says in the manual to adjust the loop to get a station in, what adjustment? Sure you can twist the loop maybe a 1/4". If your in the Daytona area this is a waste of money You might get 2 or 3 channels. I bought this to test my Outdoor Phillips antenna, which I discovered the plug was messed up. Outdoor antennas are the way to go.

I purchased this antenna to use with a converter box for a little TV in my bedroom after cancelling my cable service. I checked at http://www.antennaweb.org/ and typed in my zip and address. It told me that 19 channels were available at my location, and this antenna picked them all up.
Sometimes, when I'm trying to watch certain channels, the signal is flaky and goes out a bit. But that's because my bedroom isn't on the ideal side of the house to receive the signal and also I am completely surrounded by a dense area of large trees, so I didn't expect this antenna to work miracles. It does what it should. Maybe I'll invest in a rooftop antenna one day but for now I'm really happy and have more $$ in my pocket without the cable bill.

It took a little experimentation to find the right spot, but I found it. I receive all available channels. I live downtown in an urban area, so perhaps my proximity to the broadcast stations helps. I don't even have to adjust the antenna when flipping channels. This is a great value.

Works great on TVs that are not connected to cable, DISH, etc. Economical way to watch no-cost TV, even if it only brings in local channels - I get about 15 channels with this antenna.

For $10 you cannot go wrong with this product! Picks up every station and you don't have to constantly move it around to find a signal! My previous antenna was $20 and this works100 times better!! Stop reading and go purchase!!!
