The straight talk lg 505c is the phone I have been looking for. To me it is just as good as the Verizon phone I had. The camera is awesome to me. And pictures are clear. This phone is the one you may want to look at for a great monthly price of 45.00, compared to any contract phone. It also has you put in zip codes to know if it will work in your area or other areas. When all you need is a basic phone and a basic plan check it out. I ordered mine on line and it came within 3 days. (LOVE this PHONE).

I bought this phone before everyone else switches to Straight Talk to test it out. So far it works great. I get service everywhere I need to, which was a concern since we are right on the Canadian border. I get better service at our camp than I did with my other phone. It was very easy to activate and figure out how to use. Camera takes a decent picture. One thing I have noticed is while texting with the touch screen there is a minor delay in the letters coming up not that big of a deal. Secondly my battery isn't lasting that long. The first time it lasted 5-6 days now it's lasting 1-2 but it could be at half then I wake up and its completely dead, this I will be looking into. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper phone. My fiancé is looking for his phone now to switch. My family members will also be switching in a few months to save some $$!

I purchased this specific phone because it had several good reviews about it, and I thought it would be what I was looking for. Unfortunatly, I was yet again highly dissatisfied with a straight talk phone... Nothing new there... This phone's data/internet capabilities are NO BETTER than any other straight talk phone I've ever had... Also, the slide out keyboard is not as easy to type on as the phone I previously had... For the price of under $100, it is OKAY... But ONLY OKAY.... I don't really like it very much at all, am pretty disappointed with it's functionality, and would NOT recommend it to anyone....

I love this phone. It's so much better than my last touch screen phone and the slide out keyboard makes texting so simple. The web browser is slow but I have a home computer so I really don't need one in my pocket. If you are a texting fool like I am, this is a great deal for the money!!

If you're looking for a basic phone this is a good choice. The camera on it is good for the price. Just wish I could figure out how to receive picture texts! No problem sending though. Love slide out keyboard.

I had the simple $20 straightalk LG 100C phone for a very long time. I decided to finally upgrade to this phone after I saw the good reviews. I wanted a bigger display screen and it's a good price for this type of phone. The slider keyboard is awesome for texting and web browsing. I did not like the idea of having a completely touchscreen phone. The touchscreen works well and has great options and graphics. The downside to this phone is that the battery doesn't last quite as long as other phones, but if you keep it charged overnight it is fine. Also the phone is a little heavy and doesn't seem to get as many reception bars in some areas as my other phone, but it still works just fine everywhere. I would recommend this phone and I am keeping it until I find a better one! Satisfied.

As for price this is a great phone. Calls clarity is pretty good, except on the occasion of the "feedback" like talking into a bad mic. You can access Facebook and do posts on your fb acct. but...you can NOT post pics with this phone to a fb acct. I called Straighttalk and was told to contact FB. Fb has not responded at all. So, I called LG and talked to the technical folks there. I was told..."The only way to put pictures on your FB acct to be seen on your LG phone is to do the following: take a picture, send it to an email acct, save from email acct to computer, then save from computer to your FB acct." "This phone does not carry the option to download pictures to any FB acct." I was sooo bummed, that now my phone is for sale on a swap shop! I will be upgrading to a Straighttalk phone like my husbands'...the Samsung Proclaim! It has almost everything I am looking for #minus the real qwerty keyboard...it has the virtual one...grrr#, and...I can post pics from the phone to my FB acct. This is a real great phone for the person that wants to get used to a touchscreen. Hope this helps someone!

This is not a smart phone, however its smart enought to avoid all those hidden fees from the Big V company.....30.00 plus sales tax im good...no hidden fees and this phone works great in my area. It does have web capabilities but a great talk n text phone lots of features.

Very good phone! It took me about 15 minutes to activate the card. Overall, its well put together, the call quality is great, and the QWERTY keyboard is very easy to use. The only drawback is the internet access, which is very slow. Keep in mind, however that this device's main purpose is for calling and texting, and it fulfills those those tasks very well.

Considering and reviewing all cell phones and plans I have had in the past, the LG 505 C is, in my opinion, the number 1 cell phone, along with the unlimited talk, text and web Straight Talk Plan. My CDMA LG is all I need for a good cell phone. I will buy it again!

This LG505c is a poorly made phone...........the quality of this phone is unbelievable i had one of those free phones for low income families and it was much more sturdy and could hold up. I do however enjoy a touch screen (limited on what you can do with it though) and a slider in one. I had a droid but i hated the keypad for typing and texting. My final thought on this phone is that it probably will not last even a year, and for that reason I wish i had just bought another smart phone!!!!!!!
P.S. BUYER BEWARE IT HAS BEEN OVER THREE DAYS AND THE WONDERFUL STRAIGHT TALK COMPANY SAID I COULD CONTINUE TO USE MY OLD (straight talk phone) UNTIL MY NEW PHONE HAD MY OLD NUMBER TRANSFERRED TO IT.
