I was shopping for a smaller table for my apartment and when I saw this table in the store, it was a bit high on the self, and from my vantage point, I thought it looked... flimsy. I searched several websites looking for something that looked nice, and wasn't outrageously expensive. I came back to this table several times before deciding to purchase it. I picked it up in the store, and was surprised to learn it was the same table I'd seen on the shelf. Until recently I was A Woman Who Does Not Put Things Together, but I managed to assemble this in about an hour by myself. Much to my delight, I've found that the table and chairs are actually quite sturdy (the directions say the table has a 100 lb weight limit). The set looks great, the chairs are comfortable, and I'm quite happy with my purchase overall. I have no complaints whatsoever.

We needed to down size our kitchen furniture because we moved into a small farm house. Every table set we looked at was just TOO BIG. This set actually fits the space we have in our eat in kitchen. We have room to move! It is a nice set. The chairs are not as sturdy as the expensive dining set we had to let go of, but they do the job. I'm not concerned about it breaking either. It does the job and looks good as well. One caution though... it you have wood or laminate floors the chairs will scratch them BAD! i suggest putting felt furniture tabs on them before you even start to put the et together.. We learned the hard way.
