I purchased this computer online, it was available for pick-up earlier then expected. Love this computer, it is compact, about half of the size of my old one, very easy to set-up, and it is fast, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Good HTPC Alternative

I purchased this mainly to serve up Win TV Extend and sometimes play a BluRay disc. Have added more RAM to make it a total of 16 GB and replaced the DVD drive with a BluRay that I had lying around with no problems and the machine has been performing flawlessly. Only thing that would make this machine complete HTPC is an HDMI slot but I knew going in that it didn't...but my TV has a PC input so all was not lost.

After many years of using AMD processor PCs because they were cheaper I finally bought an INTEL processor PC and the difference was noted immediately. The same manufacturer (ACER) I have always used and the constand fan noise etc from the machine is now history. I run the machine for days at a time with many, many programs running simulaniously and the box remains cool to the touch. I am very pleased with this machine and recommend it to all.
