The menu was easy to figure out and I had the tv scanning for channels in a matter of minutes.
I do feel like others, though, that the instructions that came with it were not very helpful and I had to hunt for the option to enter text information. For anyone that buys this tv, hit "ok" to bring up a keyboard.

I was looking for a smart TV with built in WiFi that I could afford and have to say that this item hit the mark. It was very easy to set up using the on screen prompts and I was connected to my home WiFi network in no time at all. I also like the fact that it auto updates via the internet and I like the option of being able to download the apps that I want. The picture quality is sharp and the sound quality is excellent. I would highly recommend this TV if you are on a budget and looking for an affordable smart TV.

Once I was able to connect everything--with the help of the 800# provided, which by the way was extremely helpful, I was pleasantly surprised. The Wifi features are pretty cool...especially watching You Tube, Netflix etc. I haven't checked out everything yet but happy with this TV.

Good Television

I’m always the last on the block to get the latest electronic gadgets, so by the time I get them they aren’t so new. And that’s fine with me. I don’t need fancy, I just need what works, and because I wait until my ‘old fashion’ technologies wear out, I’m not paying new innovation prices either.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending how you look at it, the television I bought when the change over from crt to flat screen was happening, decided to go nuts on me. It was freaky. The channels just started changing randomly on their own and the tv itself would turn on and off and there was no manually stopping it unless you unplugged it. But this review isn’t about that television so I digress.
I read a lot of reviews and decided to go with a Vizio for my new television, though I didn’t have my mind set on any particular model. I do have wireless internet and Netflix streaming on my computer, but wasn’t sure if I wanted to stream it on my television or not. I have two kids and they argue over everything as it is, I was hesitant about giving them something else to go at it about. And I didn’t know what size I wanted to get. Good thing I did my homework, isn’t it?
Well, when I got into Walmart and checked out the selection, at first I was going to go with the 39’ not smart television, but right next to it was this 32’ smart television at a hundred dollars cheaper. My living room, which is where this television is used, is large enough to use Kinect for the X-box comfortably but it’s not huge, so the kids bickering as usual aside, I really couldn’t justify spending $13.00 and some change more per inch, and not getting anything special to go along with it. So I chose the E322ar as my television.
As you can probably tell, I am an electronics wizard, but I did have some issues setting this television up. I have digital cable and I had no trouble answering that question-the one that gave me trouble was is it from the wall or something else. Well I go through the box so I picked the something else and it did not work. I had to go back and chose the wall. Though at first getting back to that spot was a bit confusing but it’s really not. Just hit back.
I’d read complaints about the remotes for these televisions in general and during set up of the wi fi connection I had no idea how to convert the number pad to a letter pad-I still have no idea but an easy fix for that problem, and the problem of moving a cursor around in general, to spell out anything in the web apps, is to connect a keyboard to the television. That’s what I did and it made life much easier.
Okay, something happened where all of a sudden the picture, which was fine at first, turned to not so great and then horrible. Funny part was the picture quality was great for Netflix and You Tube. I was confused and upset about it. I ended up with the stomach bug the next day so couldn’t get out to return it and that’s a good thing because a little trouble shooting hint I didn’t see in the menu-if you have cable and your television goes kooky, make sure the tv is on channel three. This is standard on all kinds of televisions but for some reason I didn’t even consider it. My ten year old ended up figuring it out-heavy sigh.
With the little ‘what the hecks’ out of the way, I’m very happy with my purchase. I spent about $300.00 after tax on this television and I’m not really a television connoisseur but the picture is good and is easily adjusted to your liking with the picture menu. Actually this television is pretty easy to use in general if you have even a bit of intuitiveness when it comes to this kind of thing. I just happen to have a hair under a bit of, and I had it up and going in less than ten minutes. The sound is good. There’s no buzzing or anything like that and I do enjoy watching Netflix and You Tube on my television. And so far there hasn’t been too much fighting over who gets to watch Netflix and what they are going to watch.

It's exactly what I expected. I wanted a nice size TV for my bedroom that could stream Netflix. The sound is exceptional, the picture quality is very good. I am still playing with picture settings to tweak the color/tint/contrast that I like. The black colors are crisp black. I consider that a good sign when rating color quality. (No shadowing or lagging of color). I would buy this product again.

Over all it's a great TV. Set up for the WiFi took me all day and a few phone calls. The on screen Keyboard is hard to work and the remote control is a little sensitive. You press in a number and you might get seven of the same #. Trying to put in the WiFi pass word took a long time because you have to count the black dots. Entering the pass word took a long time.

The smart TV functions and the controls setup are very easy. The TV looks above average, what you would expect in the price range, and it is light. Vizio is often rated best in class for a good reason. It is cheap, puts out one of the best products you can buy for the money, and the functionality is actually better than most of it's higher priced competitors. I also have a Samsung Smart TV and I am just as happy with the two Vizio's I bought at half the price.
The only drawback I have found is it takes a bit longer to start up than it should. But honestly, that is not even a big deal.

We have had this TV in our exercise room for over a year, and it has worked almost perfectly! We needed a new TV in our bedroom so we went to our local Walmart but they were out of this model. We bought the 32" 1080p 3D Vizio, but brought it back immediately since it did not get good WiFi reception. We bought this TV online and it gets great WiFi reception. It's easy to set up and I love being able to watch our Hulu plus and Netflix on it without needing to have any extra boxes attached to it!

Great value, but wi-fi capability was disappointing, as there was no "warning" that it needs to be within 30' or less, and separated by no or few walls to receive the signal. Now have to run a cat5 cable or purchase a network extender. Live and learn!

My wife and I chose this TV for it's features and price, we bought two during the holidays. I purchased one for my daughter and one for my wife and I. The VIZIO in my daughters room works great, the wireless connects and stays connected , the APPS load flawlessly. The VIZIO that I used is another story, from day one the APPS would load without a problem about 10% of the time the other 90% it would not connect to my wireless network at all. I called tech support (that didn't help) ,the techs explanation was that there is a wireless device in our home that has a higher priority when it comes to my VIZIO connecting to my wireless network, that made no sense to me, the tech advised me to call my ISP. I called ISP tech support and explained what was happening, she (tech) walked me through my firewall settings and we were able to get my TV connected to my wireless network, that only lasted about 30 minutes and I was unable to get TV reconnected. I was so irritated at that point that I boxed that VIZIO up and returned to the Walmart that we shop at. I got a refund that I used to buy another brand TV and a ROKU bx. I have had no problems with wireless connection since that day. My wife and I wanted to replace defective VIZIO with the same model VIZIO but was unable to find replacement for the same price that we had purchased TV for during the Christmas holiday (2012). When it comes to VIZIO tech support , I felt their tech support wrote this case off as user error. I enjoyed all that VIZIO has to offer on this model TV except for the one problem with the wireless.

This is a great product, could be a little better but cool for the price. I'm holding back a star for a couple reasons. #1 - Takes forever to power up. Notice I said "power up", cause thats what you do when you turn on a computer, takes a while sometimes right? Well thats how this TV comes on, my computer actually powers up faster then this TV....who made it, Ms Daisy? ....and #2 Without a keypad, searching vids Youtube will drive you nuts.
Now let me finish by saying if this TV didn't come with all the specification and features it has now, I would have felt really bad about my purchase. So 4 stars for this product, one more would have made it perfect.
