I have a natural black afro (4C). I used a super and it worked as expected. My hair came out very soft and shiny. I had normal shedding as I would with my weekly shampoos. If you have ever used Nair that's what it smells like to me. My curls loosened a bit and made it easier to straighten my hair. I will definitely continue to use it :-)
