Purchased this swing for my parents because I own a Mainstay 3-Person swing and absolutely love it. We have had ours for 3 years and have never had any problems with it. We even leave it outside (uncovered) during the winter (in Maine).
This swing however is a different story. It looks great and was a great price but it is not the same quality as my first Mainstay 3-person swing. This swing is comfortable to sit on but it is so SQUEAKY that you don't even want to rock while sitting on it. Also, after only a week of using it the webbing that supports the cushions are starting to stretch out (no we are not heavy people#. Again, my first swing was a solid material under the cushions and has much better support.
Obviously, this will be returned to the store for a refund #hopefully).

Purchased this swing online for my Dad's Birthday. It took my husband and I about an hour to put together. We picked this particular swing because of the weight capacity and the three seats - I'm very pleased with how sturdy it is. The cushions/fabric were also much nicer than they appeared online. And Dad loves it!

This swing is nice and comfortable, but will probably not last very long. We have had it ONLY two months and it is already rusting at vital areas that will make it unuseable way before its time.
So, unless you plan to keep this swing indoors, I would not buy it

I'm a little concerned that the directions indicate the swing should be "stored in a dry area when not in use. (For example, overnight or on rainy days)". It is ovbiously not practical to carry this swing inside every night, so I will reserve judgment to see how it withstands the sun and the heat.

This is a nice swing. Not too terribly hard to assemble and very comfortable. I also love the adjustable canopy... The only thing I don't like is that it has a somewhat annoying squeak from time to time?! I've tried oiling it and other things to help minimize it, but it still continues... Its not significant enough for me to not recommend the product... But it is significant enough to lower my expectations rating from good to average.

Get a little roll of the spongy shelf liner ( non adhesive) , cut a couple little pieces and lay them between the s hook and the metal it lays on. Mine has been quiet ever since!

I had one that did the same thing. It drove me crazy! So my husband recommended that I try using bearing grease, so I did. It was messy, but it worked! When you apply that goopy stuff, just use gloves. Now I swing in peace and quiet! Hope this helps...

I'm very glad that I purchased this 3 person swing for my parents. They really enjoy it and they don't feel smashed together, like they would on a 2 person swing. It even allows room for their little dog to jump up there and swing with them. The cushions are made of an outdoor material so they can be left outside, but they do take on some water when it rains. So, you may want to take the cushions in during a storm. The instructions to put it together were easy to understand. The tools that they give you to put it together are cheap and make it difficult, so I used my own tools for the job. The metal is durable, but don't tighten down the bolts too tight when assembling it because the metal can bow a bit. It also comes with touch-up paint in case any of the outer paint chips, which is nice. Overall, great buy for the price!
