Outstanding, but misadvertised

Everything about the restoration is outstanding. However, the film is incorrectly advertised as "widescreen. Widescreen has never been an option with "Cinderella" or any of the Disney feature films before 1955. I would recommend using the "Disney view" option on the menu; it allows complementary artwork to cover up the annoying sidebars.

I can't believe this is NOT widescreen! I am utterly disappointed! WHY! is this not in wide screen. And WHY did I expect it was?!!!!

This is one of my favorite disney movies. I was litterally counting the days til it came out on DVD. It is advertised as "widescreen." It is not wide screen. There are black bars on the left and right side of the movie. VERY ANNOYING! Otherwise, we loved the movie. I just hate that it isn't advertised correctly.
