I took a chance and purchased this refurbished laptop --the laptop works fine, but it will not power up using the battery , only the power cord. While it is covered under a limited warranty --it is an inconveenienc and a cost to send it to them and wait for them to return it. Ipurchased a laptop because I needed one -- now I will be without one while it is repaired. It would have been a great value for the price -- if it was problem free when I received it!

The keyoard has a nice light touch and the computer has all the memory I can use. Upload the recommended additions from Asus to enhance the performance to increase the speed and performance of the system.

Purchased this laptop thinking it would be the same quality as their desktop, however, I was wrong. I have had to wipe the hard drive once already due to driver issues. The software from ASUS causes the computer to run extremely slow - once you turn it off and don't allow it to open at start up, you will do fine. Slower that I would like, but love the size! Good keyboard!

Much faster than my older computer with uploading photos, but I noticed on facebook I still have the same problem as I did with my old Asus netbook...my screen freezes and I have to use task manager to get rid of that window and open a new one and re-try what I was doing on facebook. However, it doesn't happen as often as it did on my netbook.
Overall I'm very happy with the computer.
It holds a charge pretty well and doesn't seem to have any real flaws.

Have been an Asus user for years and am impressed with the forward thinking of Asus and AMD/ATI with the Integrated CPU/GPU. Great performance, runs quit and cool. Would not recommend for someone looking for High performance gaming but for the price and for Pictures/Videos/Internet family laptop you can't beat it. Does all that you expect.
