Waterproof, high for walking in snow. Main reason I buy; soft rubber sole and its wide; perfect balance, traction and the soft rubber is great on the back, spine. I add in arch supports and the boots inprove my balance, back, neck muscles. Wear in the home too standing typing on computer.
