I got this tank about 6 weeks ago for a betta I was taking to college with me. The tank is very small and my fish wasn't happy in it. The light doesn't produce enough light to make much of a difference, even in the dark, you would have better luck tossing a glow stick in the tank. The tank also doesn't come with a lid, and they don't make lids for tanks this size and shape. This bacame a problem when I came home from class one day to find my fish shriveled up on my desk because he had jumped out. It is a cheap tank, but you get what you pay for. At most places, you can get a five gallon tank for less than ten dollars, and get a lid for it too, Which I would highly suggest. Don't waste your money on this tank, or you will be spending more on replacement fish than the tank cost to begin with.

I purchased this tank about a month ago for my betta. As they are tropical fish I purchased a under-gravel heater. Also I purchased a plant because my betta likes to hide in the large leaves. However my betta does have trouble moving around because the tank is only about .5 gallons. I decided to upgrade the size to give him more room to swim around. The tank would be great for a single guppy, but bettas not so much.
