I bought my 1st Mitchell 300 55 years ago. I'm brand loyal and it brings back great memories of the great times we had fishing with a Mitchell 300.
A source of pride to fish with what we considered the best reel ever made. All the rest were poor copy cats. Go with a proven product.

I been fishing since i could walk with my grandpap and my dad lol. we used the old mitchell 300's from years ago. To me this reel is just as great!! Im telling you, dont listen to anything bad about it. My first catch with it was a 16 inch catfish an it was as smooth as it gets to bring it in. This reel is quiet compared to the old 300's lol and a perfect fit on my ugly stick... love it!
